I thought I would give you one (possibly final?) Farshtey Feed...
SPHERUS MAGNA
• The Great Beings created the Iron Wolves, as they did most things, as an experiment, not specifically for use in the Core War.
• The large northern forested region on Spherus Magna was located south of the Northern Frost. • There were only the six rival tribes we have already encountered who participated in the Core War.
• The Kaxium model was used in the Core War.
BARA MAGNA
•
Friday, July 17, 2009
It's a big one, complete with an entire "Core War" section.
GLATORIAN
• On Kiina's personality: "Brash. Energetic. Impatient. Loyal. Caring. Stubborn."
• Gelu was aware that he had the potential to make First Glatorian but had no interest in the job. There is more money to be made as an escort than as a First Glatorian.
• Iconox gets Gelu's preference if he has more than one client for his services. Most of the work he does is for them anyway, because they are shi

It's that time of week again.
BARA MAGNA
• Greg: "The Skrall situation is different from the rest. Skrall do not have individual names -- they're just called Skrall, which is the name of their group -- unless they distinguish themselves and so earn a name. Other Glatorian have individual names and are not strictly a part of a "tribe" -- they just work for the tribe."
• Skrall are not clones, but rather living individual beings who happen to live in a social group

BARA MAGNA
• The Great Beings would have genetically modified the Vorox and Zesk simply for the sake of research.
• There is a vehicle division in the Great Tournament. Pilots in vehicles fight other pilots with vehicles; they don't fight Glatorian or Agori without vehicles.
• Greg's reason that Strakk has never won a tournament: "People who habitually cheat tend not to work as hard at building up their skills as people who do not." • On Gelu's heartless persona: "I th

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving .
BARA MAGNA
• Bara Magna is a lot older than the Matoran universe and is most likely older than the Great Beings.
• Greg: "The black and green Glatorian […] fight in the first comic -- but reasonably, any two Glatorian can fight in the arena, because it's not about being friends or enemies. It's a job."
• One can get a pretty good idea whether or not a Thornax is going to explode if one knows when it was harvested or if

The Feed is back. Also, read the new comic here.
GLATORIAN
• There are occasionally vehicle matches between a Glatorian and an Agori, since skill in the vehicle is all that matters.
• Greg: "Glatorian generally do not escort caravans on a regular basis. They do it if the caravan happens to be going the same place they are. If Vastus has a match in Tajun and the caravan is going from Tesara to Iconox, he goes to the match, not with the caravan, because fighting in the

SPHERUS MAGNA
• The Great Beings ruled the planet of Spherus Magna as a whole as a group; they did not have an overall leader among themselves nor did they break up responsibilities by region.
• The following occurred in this chronological order: the creation of the Element Lords, Sahmad's plague 103,000 years ago, the creation of the Mata Nui prototype. BARA MAGNA
• Everyone except the Vorox can and does use vehicles.
• The Glatorian probably received their mechanic

The mods were on a tyrade last week about how the OGD should be a place for concise discussion and posting dialogues with Greg. Then they disappeared, and now we're in a bad spell of people making totally extraneous posts. What up wit that?
BARA MAGNA
• Elemental affiliations in 2009 are based on geography, but tribes are still referred to as the fire tribe, the water tribe, etc.
• Like any desert, the surface of Bara Magna has oases and other such areas.

ATTENTION: There will be NO Farshtey Feed entry next Friday. The Feed should resume the next Friday.
SPHERUS MAGNA
• Greg: "Spherus Magna broke up into three pieces. Since the desert known as Bara Magna makes up the largest portion of this chunk, the residents of that chunk call the entire place Bara Magna. Outside of the mountains to the north, there really isn't a lot there besides the desert." • The GBs knew what was going to happen to the planet as a result of the

BARA MAGNA
• Malum had a reason to try to kill Strakk in the arena.
• Greg, on Vastus's paralyzing venom spear: "It's only an unfair advantage if he is allowed to use it in the arena, when his opponent has nothing to counter it. What weapons are allowed in a match is determined beforehand. So, for example, Vastus might be allowed to use the spear in a given match but not to trigger the venom."
• In order to tame a Rock Steed a Bone Hunter must subdue it in single comba

BARA MAGNA
• The inhabitants of Bara Magna have heard of the Great Beings but generally do not call them that.
• One of the winter Agori sets is the leader of his tribe.
• Neither Fero nor Atakus is an Earth villager -- Rock is black, and Earth is tan! • The inhabitants of Bara Magna have seen the Three Virtues symbol but have no idea what it refers to.
THE UNIVERSE
• The Three Virtues map does not show a means of getting from one universe to another.

BARA MAGNA
• Greg: "The Agori are the native species of Bara Magna. They were not created by the Great Beings, like Matoran were, and they don't even know what a Great Spirit is. The robot pieces visible in the desert are from a Great Being project that never functioned."
• Spherus Magna didn't shatter slowly; it shattered quickly. The Great Beings were the first ones to realize it might happen.
• Greg: "Well, we know the planet Spherus Magna shattered into three piece

BARA MAGNA
• The Great Beings once held a position of power on Spherus Magna, up to the Core War and during it.
• Greg hints that it is possible that the Great Beings would not refer to each other as "Great Beings" or their giant robot as the "Great Spirit."
• Prior to the Shattering, many Agori and Glatorian had been outside of Bara Magna. Most are not native to Bara Magna. • Greg, on the Vorox's anomalous tails: "Ah, but who is to say they aren't the same species as G

GLATORIAN
• Greg: "Strakk's attitude is a lot closer to the typical Glatorian than, say, Gresh's is. Some Glatorian, like Vastus, are motivated by the need to make up for their past, some, like Tarix, by love of their village, but most in general are in it for the shelter, the food, the equipment -- those are things you can't do without in a desert, and at some point, you will be too old to make a living as a Glatorian, so you have to get it while you can."
• Vastus's re

I'd like to thank those people who have told me they read the Farsthey Feed and like what I'm doing -- that's very encouraging!
MAKUTA TERIDAX
• Teridax could not have succeeded had Mata Nui not died. Had his efforts on Voya Nui and Mahri Nui failed to delay the Toa long enough for Mata Nui to die, he would have had to amend the Plan, just as he did after the Metru's victory in Metru Nui.

BARA MAGNA
• No one living on Bara Magna would refer to it as "planet Bara Magna," analogous to the fact that no one living in California would refer to it as "planet California" were it to break off into space.
• Bone Hunters are physically stronger than Agori.
• Greg, on the relationship between the Skrall and Glatorian species: "All part of overall the same species, in the same way humans and other animals are primates." • Thornax do not grow outside of the Bara Magn

BARA MAGNA
• Bara Magna is viewable from the endless ocean planet with the use of a telescope.
• Greg: "I think it is safe to say the MN telescope is not powerful enough to see out of the solar system…" meaning that Bara Magna and the endless ocean planet are in the same star system.
• North of Bara Magna's desert are primarily mountains and valleys, and inhabitable terrain is concentrated to a small region. To the south, on the other hand, the desert stretches all the

Happy Halloween!
STAGE STORY
• The other Makuta knew that Teridax would become the Great Spirit, and he promised that they would be his avatars in the universe.
• Having taken over Mata Nui's body, Makuta does have the potential to be omniscient, but he is still a non-Great Spirit mind in a Great Spirit body. So he is not USED to being omniscient, and that is a weakness the Toa may be able to exploit.
• In Mata Nui's body, Teridax still has the powers he had while

BARA MAGNA
• Greg believes the Vorox always had their stinger tails.
• Malum did not kill the former pack leader of the Vorox.
• Greg would say most if not all the known Agori were alive before the Shattering. • All of the known Glatorian were alive before the Shattering. Gresh is indeed a younger Glatorian, but he does remember the Shattering. He was simply too young to have fought in the war.
• Greg: "Bone hunters generally don't use vehicles, because vehicles ma

KARDA NUI
• Vican couldn't care less that Mutran is dead.
• Greg: "There was a process in place that the Nuva could have used to wake Mata Nui up without the Ignika, but it would have been time-consuming to do. With the Ignika counting down to extermination of all life in the universe, there wasn't time to do it that way. But it was still the Nuva's destiny to do it -- the Ignika was simply the tool they used to make it happen. (Who got the Ignika into the Codrex? Wh

BARA MAGNA
• Vastus is a little younger than Tarix, Kiina is quite a bit younger than Tarix, but older than Gresh.
• The Book of Certavus is currently in Berix's possession.
EMPIRE OF THE SKRALL
• Greg, on the baterra's ability to vanish: "Works like this. You and a friend are walking through a forest. One of the trees is actually a shapeshifted baterra. It turns back into a baterra, attacks your friend. When you turn to see what's happening, it's a tree again, so i

Ask me about adulthood.
BARA MAGNA
• The implants used by the inhabitants of Bara Magna are so efficient that they can be passed on to new individuals without use of sophisiticated technology, which they lack.
• Glatorian death is extremely rare -- Glatorian matches are not to the death, and killing an opponent in the arena is treated the same way as a boxer killing another one in a match. Injuries, of course, can and do happen all the time.
• Hundre

KARDA NUI
• Rockoh T3 is faster than either of the other two vehicles and is built for ramming attacks.
• Greg doesn't consider Gavla evil -- he considers her lonely and friendless. Think about it -- Gavla, before becoming a shadow Matoran, never stole or robbed or killed anyone. She wasn't evil. But she didn't feel welcomed or wanted by her tribe. She did feel needed by the Makuta, which is why she didn't want to go back to being an Av-Matoran. That's not being evil

Terminator: SCC is getting really intense; they built up a lot of plot this season that makes for great drama now. I'm proud of that show.
BARA MAGNA
• Mata Nui has a mask, which he does not know well how to use, since he has never worn a mask before. And while the mask's powers COULD be used to kill all the Skrall, Mata Nui would not do that anymore than a Toa would. Mata Nui is a champion of life and light and does not kill his enemies.

The OGD was going along extraordinarily slow this this week. I wonder why that is?
GENERAL
• A Mohtrek user can summon a past self that does not wear a Mohtrek.
• If the Vahi or the Ignika is outside the universe, it could not affect the universe, but it is only keyed to affect that universe, so its destruction would not affect the world beyond the Matoran universe. It's like a self-destruct switch on a spaceship -- take it off the ship and flip it and it won't
