So I have to work today (leaving at 12:15 my time), and they stuck me with a Nascar race. So for Black Friday, I'll be on air from 10am to 3pm during what we call "The Midday HEAT" on our rock station. Heh heh, it's already recorded and in the log. Fun fun.

THE RACE WAS CANCELLED! WHOO HOO!!! It was cancelled in time for me to catch a showing of Spiderman 3, and I must say... It could have been better... Now, I'm not saying it was terrible, but it seriously could have been better for the four year wait we had to endure...
First, as much as I like Topher Grace, they could have done better for the Eddie Brock, Jr./Venom character. The voice of Venom was also too weak. Venom needs a feral voice (but not too feral, for Carnage is worse!), and Venom
So, working this morning, our local news cast pops on, and the first story made me slam my head into the desk out of anger and frustration...
In Ohio, if your home is invaded, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DEFEND YOURSELF. If you injure the intruder, THEY CAN SUE YOU, even though they BROKE INTO YOUR HOME, violated YOUR SPACE, and brought possible harm to YOUR FAMILY...
They're trying to change the law, but what I want to know is:
WHY WAS THIS LAW PUT INTO ACTION IN THE FIRST PLACE!?

Well, It's almost 8 on a Saturday morning, so you know what that means...
I'm at work! At a Clearchannel radio station... Where I only have to work 24 Hours to make $200+... In a two week period, yes, but still, this is the best paying job I've had, and the hours are great... I work Wednesdays 6 to midnight, and Saturday mornings 8 to 2...
