I would be totally surprised and really sad if an American of my age didn't know about the Lewinsky case. However, I certainly discovered a Tasmanian today who didn't know ANYTHING about it. And they're at Uni, where the educated supposedly thrive.   How could you not know about it at all? That's one of many things that I thought many people should know about, even if it is kinda silly.   What things you thought most people would know that someone did not know?

So in the past couple of weeks, thanks to the wonderous world of social networking, I pretty much have every Saturday (including this one) for the next month tied up with invitations to birthdays or going away shindigs or both, mostly for 21st birthdays. Titan Olympics Update

Things are going along nicely. I should be getting the last of the lines any day now and I have photographed all but two scenes for the whole thing. And I have over 10 minutes of completely finished work, which is great. However, here's a question for you. The last two scenes I have to do are tough, as there are lots of characters doing lots of things at the same time, and they have to all be captured. It was a surprise to me to see this today. Even though it is September. Anyway, here's my usual rant about this one. First off, I was surprised to find this little number within the catalogue. No More Easter Break!

And what did I do in my Easter Break? Pretty much nothing. This is the one holiday of the year where I'm disadvantaged. While (I'm assuming) you guys get at least 2 weeks, I only have 1. So I'm sad. Oh well. Easter was way too early this year. And now no holidays till the 30th of May. And Daylight Saving ends next Saturday. Yay, a gained hour! Not like I need it though, I'm sleeping too much. Which is making me tired, funnily enough.

A Small Something That The Australian Branch Of Lego Should Consider For 2010 Onwards.

Every year, three of the major retailers in Australia (K-Mart, Big W and Target, although more may do it as well) have a huge toy sale at the start of July and lasts for a few weeks, with lots of savings, layby and all of that consumer jargon. You would think that releasing the new wave of sets (not just BIONICLE, but all the lines) around or before that date would be good for sales, and not a whole month later. What about my AC#16 entry?   The Eighth Magazine I got features the LEGO themes Adventurers, Speed Slammers (?), Star Wars, Race and Knights Kingdom. It is September 2000. Daylight <Bloody> Saving

Well, we were led to believe that the rest of Australia would get onto Daylight Savings at the same time as us. We were wrong. We are still in the unfortunate state of being a whole hour ahead of the country, and therefore meaning that everything in the media will be behind by an hour. And I am ticked off. Going Away.

So, from tomorrow (the 8th) till the 13th I will be in Adelaide on a sort of nostalgic trip. I used to live in Adelaide for nearly 4 years, before moving back to 2001. Yes, not long after coming back to Tasmania I first found out about BIONICLE. So yeah, it will be interesting how the place has changed and all that. Politics Regarding The Internet

With the current election, there are two differing plans on how to improve internet speeds in Australia. Because our internet sucks, not one of our cities are in the top 100 in the world.   Dumbing this down greatly, and maybe not completely accurately, but if you're interested enough go read yourself somewhere.
