I keep having this dream right after I fall asleep that I'm walking and I misstep and I slip and wake up just before I hit the ground. They aren't anything spectacular the most recent one was slipping on a patch of ice and almost hitting the sidewalk.

The line between self destructive behavior and sensation seeking is much the same as the line between addiction and enjoyment.
Both are razor thin and imposable to see unless you've fallen over that blued line. What makes things even more complicated is that everyone's threshold is different.
With some people all it takes is one and they're addicted, but I personal know someone who's able to smoke around a pack and a half a day but really can (and has) stopped for months.
How some people complain they have no access to means of production when a $300 cheep-o laptop has more memory, is at least three times as fast, and has so much better processing power then the computer used to monitor and control Apollo 11.
You have a more powerful computer then the machine used to send people to the freaking moon.

You're problem isn't that you have no access, it's that your too stupid to use the amazing tools you already have.

Trying to fix a bird clock.
I got the clock part working but the alarm instead of sounding like a bird chirping sounded like an electronic demon screech. I played with this clock for 2 hours and everything I did only made it worse.
Just five minutes ago I realized I had the wrong capacitors.
Moral of story, always make sure you have the right parts.
