Andrew Hussie (creator of MSPaint Adventures for those of you out of the know who should totally get into the know) will be attending.
So will I.
WHAT DO I DO
Much better pics, the catch being that the background is my deck. Mostly his rear legs and rear body have been changed. Things remaining: Fill in this one hole at the base of the tail, attempt to fill in body holes, improve upper neck if possible.

Inspired by all the incredible dragon-making recently (retinence, Primus, DV) I went and made a dragon myself. It's still a WIP, really, but it has all of its limbs and such. There are still gaps to be filled (mostly in the torso) and some tweaks left to make, though. This is the largest thing I've ever built (in all three dimensions) and yet I built it in, like, two hours.
Lower hind legs are sort of placeholder.
Also, it's entirely black and therefore very hard to photograph, and these are
But probably not the "Hero" you expected...
I finally actually took the time to photograph all of my MOCs that are actually worth showing and shrink, crop, and improve the pictures so that they're all ready for presentation. Now I just need to post the topics! There are quite a few of them. I also took some pictures of the three Hero Factory villains that I own: Xplode, Corroder, and Meltdown. So I thought I'd share those for those of you who can't get Hero Factory or haven't.
And to host
Well, after a spontaneous decision to get ice cream our car broke down about halfway there. My dad, brother, and I waited quite a while on the edge of the road until my mom (who was at home) got off the phone with someone else (we have call waiting but don't know how to use it ) and eventually came to rescue us. Interesting little occurrence.
On the bright side which is also the Lego side, I recently won an eBay auction for a lot of loose parts, today the Toys-R-Us nearby had the HF villains
Challenge 21:
Move Along
Disclaimer: This challenge has nothing to do with the All American Rejects' song, Move Along.
Dangit, BZP! I was all ready last night to resume the challenges after weeks of not doing them, and what do you do? Go down! I don't believe it. Well, now that it's back up, here we are.
Now, as we all know, the Bionicle line of sets have ended. Psh, who needs them! Forget the engaging story and detailed, well-designed sets! Lego's surely given us something better to rep
It's 7/11/2010, everyone! GO CLAIM YOUR FREE 7.11 OUNCE SLURPEES! oh too late ;_;
Also I recently made a banner for Sumiki's Year One topic and it won that little competition he had so go check out his topic and maybe help if you haven't already.
And lastly this game that I can't link to or say the name of because of the chat system is probably the most fun game ever.
*Uncovers blog from under a pile of old socks and pie tins*
Maintaining a blog can be annoying (at least for me), especially with finals and whatnot around the end of school. So for a while I stopped blogging and didn't really resume even after summer began, but now since I have nothing to do I really should get back to posting. So yes. The two to three of you who missed this blog, rejoice!
The Challenges are scheduled to resume Monday. The previous challenge will still be open.
I've
Challenge 20:
Consistency
"Sound the call! The grand day is upon us! The day of the Twentieth Challenge!" proclaimed the Grand Master Proclaimer, galloping into the center square. The peasants stopped what they were doing (which, being peasants, wasn't much) and gathered like some sort of thing that often gathers around the Proclaimer. "Well, what is it?" they bequestion-ed the man, who, in response, promptly pulled out a scroll adorned with fine gold designs. It bore the stamp of the King and
• Recently I acquired Little Big Planet, which is amazing. The level editor is unbelievable.
• Also, yesterday I saw Iron Man 2, which I liked and was able to follow despite not having seen the first one.
• I got a big black paper for backgrounds of photos last weekend and I'm building a something to use it with.
• In school the other day my Spanish teacher mentioned "the volcano in Europe" and everyone was like "What's that one called anyway?" and thanks to everyone on BZP mentionin
Challenge 19:
But What Does It Mean?
Where has the time gone? Next week we'll be at Challenge #20! Twenty weeks of challenges... There will be another celebratory special challenge with slight rewards, like Challenge #10, next week.
But for this week, the challenge is a tough one. You have been assigned the task of building something that has meaning or symbolism. Most MOCs simply look good or do something cool, but MOCing is a form of art and most art has meaning. Any submitted MOCs should
Just a few minutes ago the power went out for a second, flickered on, then went out again for a few minutes. It's probably because of all the wind. So if I vanish anytime soon (not that many of you would notice), that's a pretty likely explanation.
Challenge 18:
The Animal Kingdom
Grr homework taking up all my time and making me rush this...
To qualify for this particular challenge, you have to build a MOC with some aspect inspired by a real animal. Really, a lot of possibilities here. I won't list some as I'm in a hurry and I'd prefer you people come up with something cool.
Maybe I should start writing these in advance rather than coming up with them at the last second. Hmm.
So guys, guess what we're making next in Studio Art in school?
Masks.
This happened to remind me of a certain line of constructable figures that I like.
So I ask you, which mask do you think would be best?
Challenge 17:
Call to Arms
I blame homework and sickness for the fact that this is a day late. Better late than never?
The challenge this week is to build a weapon. A simple premise, but I've found it's pretty fun. This does not include guns, it should be a bladed or blunt weapon. It must be in set/MOC scale. You can't just build a hilt for a weapon piece or something, it has to be its own MOC, although you can use pre-made weapon pieces.
I may post some examples that I've made if I ha
Well, I wrote 900 words of comedy just after the contest was announced, then forgot about it until just now. Now to finish the story before the deadline at midnight tonight.
Since I haven't blogged much recently, I shall inform you that I recently acquired 3 Lego sets: the Neptune Carrier (which I've been wanting for a while), Desert Attack (which has amazing pieces and I couldn't find in any store for a long time), and the Wreck Raider (which was reviewed here).
Also I'm feeling pretty
Challenge 16:
DisPROportional
See, because it has pro in it, and I guess you'll be a pro if you build something (or something)? Hehehe... no?
Everyone's always going on about how a MOC doesn't have the "right" proportions - it doesn't fit the human concept of beauty. As usual, though, this challenge is going to require you to build differently. The challenge is, as you've most certainly guessed, is to build a biped whose proportions don't look normal. You can build something really tall or
