I have spent over 3 years here on BZPower, and I've loved every moment of it. And now, just today, I've finally reached 200 posts. Hooray! :happydance:
Happy Halloween! I just got back from Trick-or-Treating, I went with three of my friends. One was a robot, one was some guy from a video game with a big black coat and a gun that you guys would probably know, and the third was "Death by Salesman," as in Death of a Salesman. He wore a suit and a tag that said "Saleman," and he had an Airsoft gun. You should already know what I was (if you don't, look two entries down). Oh, and it rained. Mmm, soggy candy!
Would you like to purchase a quality hat? We've got sombreros, safari hats, sparkly red hats, those cool spinny hats, and more! In other words, I'm being a Hat Salesman for Halloween. I've got a tie and slightly fancy shirt and a bag full of hats that I occasionally switch wearing. Yup. I thought of it last night, then hastily gathered a bunch of hats and a nice shirt, then wore it to school today. Reactions were mostly positive, although everyone asked what I was.
... who still pronounces "Matoran" MAH-tor-ahn? I know it's not correct, but I think it sounds better then muh-TOR-an. And before anyone asks, yes, this entry was pretty spontaneous and random.
1. Now that I'm done organizing my parts, how should I organize my sets? By year, color/elemental affiliation, good vs. evil, organizations and groups, or something else?
2. If you could choose one Bionicle part and make it life-sized, what would you chose? "Life-sized" is based off a modern Toa being like 6-7 feet tall, I would think.
Or in other words, I finally sorted and organized my parts! The other day we went to the Container Store (now in five convenient locations!) and got this awesome four-story plastic drawer thing where each story comes out and is like a little suitcase. I sorted all of my pieces into piles by color (smallest pile: metallic med. blue), then found a way to fit them all except the very large pieces into the container. It's awesome, they've never been this well-organized before. I'll post some picture
BZP should find a way to flip all of the pages upside down. That would be awesome. Or something similar, like turn all of the blue on the site red. Something that doesn't involve tricking us, because we'd all expect it by now. Oh, they could make all of the smileys some picture, or broken or something! But yeah, I was just randomly thinking about this. Good day. *Slinks off*
Seriously. Today has been so incredibly windy that it sounds like it's pouring. We lost power at home earlier, and at school the lights flickered (Aww, no power lossage). There were little tiny tornadoes stirring up the leaves at the track at our school. So, 'twas pretty cool, and slightly scary. Oh, and if anyone knows how to make a hinge rotate to an object using Thyme scripting, drop me a line.

Hey... Sadrak sounds like it could be the name of something. *goes off to ponder* Anyway, KARDAS ARRIVED JUST NOW. He is BIG. He is [AWE/FEAR]SOME. He is WEIRDLY DESIGNED. Being a combiner, he uses techniques that would never be used in real sets, which I think is really cool. And his torso is really really cool. I just ordered Kardas! Since I never got him while he was actually in stores, I've been looking for a moderately-not-too-high priced one for a long time. I finally found one for $65, which I think is pretty good. Kardas was $50 when it was in stores, right? Anyway, it should be here any day now.
I just got back from Target, where I bought Stronius and Tarduk to MoC with. I can hardly remember the last time time I bought a set specifically for pieces... actually, I don't recall ever buying a set for pieces. But there was that sale thing where if you buy a Glatorian, you get a free Agori, and Stronius is just so spiky, and Tarduk had that crazy spiky head that would look so cool as a claw... Plus I don't have that many recent pieces, as I like collecting sets. Oh, and before anyone says
Recently I have realized that Turaga have probably not been featured very much since the early years of Bionicle. The only Turaga that were ever actually important were the six originals, of course, Turaga Dume, Turaga Lhikan, who is dead, and Turaga Jovan, who is also dead. And out of those, only the original six and Dume were released as sets. That's seven sets, ever. And now, on Bara Magna, there are Agori, who are like Matoran, and Glatorian, who are somewhat like Toa. But no Turaga. Hmph.
