Finally, Something Worth Blogging!

It's Wednesday, and Wednesday is when we usually go grocery shopping. I don't usually go, but I went to see if Wal-Mart had any Inika. I was particularly after Hewkii. Our whole family ended up going, except my dad. He was at work. And once we get there, we stop at McDonald's for lunch. My sisters got happy meals, and I must say, the toy they got is pretty cool for a happy meal toy. They got a PotC Pirate journal thing. I saw the image of the toys they have. I like that that Jack Sparrow plushy!

Comandoment?

I got Age of Empires III! I love that game! It's so much fun! We also got the LarryBoy PS2 game! It's fun too! What short sentences I'm speaking! And all with exclamations!   OK, I'll stop now...   I so want a Mac! (sorry, that will be the last time.) My PC can't handle anything I like to do. ;_; I want to make movies and create music! But everything I try doesn't work on my computer. Except Roxio, which is the only media suite I can get to work on my computer. It's good, but not perfec

日本語研究

I've been recently studying Japanese more, and I think I'm starting to get the hang of the language! It's not as hard as everyone says. Maybe because I enjoy it! The hardest part for me is probably putting words in the correct order. The sentance structure is "Subject, Object, Verb." I can put together small sentances though.   Props to the first person to correctly translate this...   私は十六歳です

Leap Of Faith

My life seems to have been speeding up recently!   Last week I was invited buy a family friend to work in his print shop in Dallas for a couple of days, to have an idea of what it'd be like to work in a place like that. He want's to open one near where I live, and would like my artistic skills. I accepted the offer and learned a lot while there. I learned the entire screen-printing process; It's pretty easy, just time consuming. And I also got to work with Adobe Illustrator, getting a t-shirt d

Just A Quick Update

Last night I updated my website a little to make it easier to read... in a sense.   Warning, web talk below. Feel free to skim through, read thoroughly, or skip it enirely.   Before, all the content was near the bottom of the screen in an iframe. I was going to eliminate the iframe and give every page the header, but that didn't work. Then I thought, "Duh, I'll just add my logo underneath the iframe." So I tried that and it works great! The only problem is in the blog archive for April, when

The President Of The United States!

I saw President Bush!   A short summary: We were invited by some friends to see President Bush land here in Air Force 1 to make a speech. It was pretty exciting! We got in the crowd (very near to the front, just behind the VIP section) at about 1pm to wait till he arrived. There were three bands, a country one, a school one, and a percussion one, and cheerleaders from two different schools. We waited and watched the previously mentioned entertainers until about 4pm until Air Force 1 fi

Pimp Your Blog!

I was reading Omi's blog, and I really like that whole "Pimp My Blog" concept. I thought that was hilarious, and it seems to be spreading already, so I made images for people to use when they pimp their blog! Good News, Better News, Bad News And Horrible News

The good news is I got a bag of Goldfish crackers!   The better news is I'm finally in an air-conditioned room! (I was out for a bit, and our car's AC is busted)   The bad news is I can't work at Sharper Image because I'm not 18 yet.   The horrible news is my baby sister is throwing up, but has no fever. (She's 10 months old) UPDATE: My sister is feeling much better! She proably just had an upset stomach. Thanks for the prayers Turakii!   ,4^

Look What Wednesday Boredom Can Do!

Well, today was kind of boring, like most wednesdays are. Seeing as it's the middle of the week, and nothing really happens. Except, for the fact that we got pizza for dinner!   Anyway, I'm making up a team of Toa, and I just need to buy a green Kakama to complete one of the characters. I'm thinking of writing an epic in my spare time based around these characters. They find themselves on a jungle island with their memory wiped, and they go on a quest to find who's responsible, and to hopeful

I just got back from the library. I got The Time Machine by H.G. Wells, Firebirds - an anthology edited by Sharyn November, Airborn by Kenneth Oppel, and a mammals encyclopedia for photo reference. I want to learn how to draw wild cats, and such.   Also, I just got my first blog award! Thanks Arpy!   UPDATE: I joust found out right now that one of the books I got at the library, Airborn, is going to be a movie! I had absolutely no idea of that when I checked out the book! What an interesting

Promises

I don't usually blog anything personal, but I just feel I need to share this. I realized this when I woke up this morning; but before I start, let me say that I know not all promises are about or for something or someone special, but those are the kind I'm talking about.   Someone once convinced me when I was young and impressionable, that you should never make any promises, because you don't know if you'll be able to keep them or not. That it's just safer not to commit. And for a long time I b

Triskaidekaphobia!

*Jumps on mattress*   I've just seen Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (through NetFlix), and I was surprised by how much I thoroughly enjoyed it! I don't have much to say about it except that it's a wonderful movie, and lots of fun to watch. I recommend you see it if you haven't yet.

Finaly!

Spring Cleaning

I've been updating the look of my blog, profile, avatar, and sig, etc., and I've added some content blocks. One showcasing some of my pixel work, and one dedicated to the Junkbot game on LEGO.com, because It's simply one of the greatest online LEGO games available, IMO. Feel free to use my Micro Kit for whatever reason, granted I receive credit.   Junkbot Rocks!   Anyway, now you can browse the various categories of my blog with "Categories of the Rainbow!" And be sure to check out the list o

In Due Time

Turns out that the costume project might not hit full speed until summer due to general life and such. (We might be moving in the spring.) But anything I accomplish on the project I'll be sure to post here.

Pixelness, Name-decidingness, And Mosquitoness

Well, The final polls are open! I think I have a sporting chance. Vote here!   I've updated my avatar! It's a pixel drawing I made recently of that character I talked about in the last entry. I still don't have a name that I like for him. Any ideas? Here's his bio...   Class: Toa Element: Air Weapon: Windstaff Wears a mask of molecular fusion. It lets him become the very substance he touches, though he can't change his mass. He is an adventurous fun-loving Toa, but is usually quiet and k

Hard Work Pays Off

Today I had to go help my Grandpa and members of our church move in my aunt and uncle's stuff into their new house. They just moved from Arizona. The work was quickly finished, and after that I had to babysit my cousins. Their around the 3 and 4 year old range. That was kind of tiring since they're so active. Last I saw them they couldn't even talk, now they don't stop!   Well I'm finaly home and got a special surprise in the mail. It's a TNGM I ordered from eBay! I'm so excited! It's a nice

They Just Keep Coming!

I thought the Free the Band thing was passed, but I've just received something else! I didn't know it, but apparently I won 2nd prize! I got a skate deck, poster, t-shirt, lanyard, Inika Hahli, an AAR CD, and Bionicle heroes for PC!     The poster is in much better condition than the last one I got, and this lanyard card has Nuparu on it. The only thing is the t-shirt is very small. I might give it to my younger cousin for Christmas. And since I already have Hahli, I might give it

Four Score And Seven Days Ago...

Wow, it's been almost four months since I've blogged last. I guess I just lost interest here for a while, but I'm back! And I make no promises of a regular blog upkeep. But right now I'm gonna work on updating my blog's look, and squeeze a decent title out of my brain.   In the meantime you can entertain yourself with the words spoken typed below...   I've got another baby sister, born in June; which makes makes her sister number five! Guess I'm still the only boy in this family. (besides my

Books & Birthdays

Today is my sister's birthday, she's 12 now. Last night she and I browsed around Barnes & Noble while the rest of our family went to Toys R Us to do last-minute b-day shopping for her. She's a huge horse lover, and they got her a huge stuffed horse! She was so excited when she opened it.   While at Barnes & Noble, I got BL3. I'm on chapter six right now. Greg did a good job on this book.   Well, as much as I'd like to write a larger entry, that's all I have to say right now.   ,4^
