We've Got Spirit, Yes We Do

No, this is not about SPIRIT, our FA.   So my school is having a Spirit Week this week. This mean on each day, we dress up to a theme.   Monday: No School Tuesday: Twin Day (Dress up the same with something else) Wednesday: PJ/Crazy Hair Day Thursday: Wear Orange (To support the senior class, which orange is their color) Friday: SoCal (Chill Out) Day   We were going to have a "Dress like someone famous" day, but that was canceled. I had a perfect idea too, which I was capable of pulling

Tips On Botw

I've seen blogs. Both bad and good. Some have interesting topics, some don't. However, only the ones that stand out have a chance at BOTW. Today's entry is just to let you guys (The Bloggers) know what we, the BAs (Or at least I ), look for in a blog.   *Updated frequently *No spam entries like "hi bye" *Lengthy entries (Not like bonesiii's posts, but something more than 1 sentence ) *Should have interesting subjects *Should attract some comments/views *Variety (Meaning not the same type o

The Other Side Of The World

So I'll be gone for two weeks, from this upcoming Saturday (tomorrow). I'll be in China and Japan, so I won't be on. However, I'll try to post some stuff when I'm there. If you happen to be in China/Japan, give me a PM.   How I have the time for this? Well, it's Spring Break in my school, but it's a little early for any other school. So yeah.   Apparently to Dan Quayle, a former US Vice President, he thinks that the city of Phoenix is in California.

Swamped

Wow, school must be related to Bionicle. In the summer, Bionicle will take place in a swamp. Conveniently, I am now swamped with homework. It's hasn't been a week yet since I came back from break, and I already have to do two projects, which will more than likely determine my grade for the quarter, if not semester. Not to mention tests and quizzes that will pop up in between weeks.   Joy.   On a sidenote though, BZ-Koro is doing rather well with more than 250 people. Keep them rolling.   RFoT

Spread The Word, Get The Code

Courtesy of Lyger.   So Lyg took his time to make these awesome banners that reflect off BZ-Koro's links, compiling them into a text file to help you choose different colors. You can get the codes here.   I'd like to thank Lyg for his hard work on this "project".   Spread the word.   RFoTE: 1 in 5,000 north Atlantic lobsters are born bright blue.

Speak Slow And Clear

So I just had an experience at a restaurant today. I was at this Vietnamese noodle shop today, and I ordered an Orange Soda. Next thing I knew, I had an egg soda. I'm not really sure what it was, however I was told that it was egg mixed into soda. I could still see the yolk. So here's a tip, next time when eating somewhere, speak slowly and clearly, because if you don't you just might end up with an egg soda.   Random Fact: 1 in every 4 Americans has appeared on television.

So Sick Of Elevator Music

I've been calling stores all around San Diego (Walmart, ToysRUs, and other local stores) finding if any of them have any 2008 sets with them. I'd have to say that at least half of the people didn't know what they are, and I have been put on hold so many times. None of these stores had them.   I feel sad, but I guess I could order the sets from S@H. I haven't bought from there in a long time (Oh wait, only a few months ).

Showing Bzpower Pride

My idea worked. Though not at first.       I kinda messed up a little on the BZPower part, so it's not that great, but it is wearable.   I'm wearing this to Comic-Con.   PS: Thanks to Swert for the images n' stuff.

Run Hedgehog/italian Guy Run

So, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics comes out for the DS tomorrow (1/22/08). From in-game screens and trailers, it looks like it will be a really fun game to play. It's also 3-D. If only there could be a Sonic game in 3-D for the DS which I think could be done (I'm not talking about the mini-games in SRA). The game has Wi-Fi used for leaderboards which is like getting 1st place/2nd place/etc. in the actual Olympics. So yeah. In another news, I'm going to China on April 1st, have perhaps going

Roadtrip

So I went up to LA earlier today to celebrate my brother's 23rd birthday. My grandparents came along, along with one of my brother's friends. It was kind of awkward for him, seeing as they gave him (friend, not my brother) money to buy my brother a cake, and not only a cake but to make him "happy". But boy, he sucked a lot.   It was funny to see.   Anyways, I'm playing Mario&Sonic at the Olympics, and it's fun. All sorts of different sports, as well as the Dream events, which are events w

Pondering

So a few things to think upon:   Why do you park in a driveway, and drive in a parkway?   If 7/11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, then why do they put a lock on?   Yea.   I'm having blogger's block right now. I can't think of anything to write, except that BZ-Koro is doing very well.   The surface area of an average-sized brick is 79 cm squared.

Nothing To See Here

Today's entry includes:   *Taxis in China *Terra Cotta Warriors *Complaining about soliciting *GUUUUUUNDAAAAMUUUU!   So, taking a taxi in China is cheaper than taking a taxi in America. Why? 1 USD is about 7.15 RMB (China currency). The rates still go up at the same pace, so if you take a taxi in China for 1 mile, it would cost 7.15 times less than in America. Just something there.   I went to see the Terra Cotta warriors today. You know, the clay pottery statues that are apart of Qin Shi

No More Barking Up The Wrong Tree

F5...F5...F5...F5...F5...F5...F5...F5...   So yeah, I'm no longer BARKing up the wrong tree, now I can PBARK up the wrong tree!   I'm premier now, for a year at least. I said I would, and I did...eventually. So I'll be revamping this dead blog this upcoming week.   We apologize if any dirt comes up from this image, through your screen, and hits you in the eye.

My Jet Is Lagging!

So it's about 4:30 AM here in China. My biological clock is messed up so bad. My sleep pattern isn't even in the US, since I slept so much on the plane here. After the first four hours (a total of 14 hours total) of the plane ride, I felt like it could not get any worse.   It did. There was a baby sitting a few rows back, and would scream frequently, and give a little surprise occasionally.   Have you ever had one of those moments where you were you think that it will go on forever, and you

Lucy, I'm Hooome!

So I came back from my China/Japan trip. I do have to say it was pretty interesting. Japan, although it has a lot of similarities with China, it is also very different. For one thing, your drive on the left side of the road. Even on the last day of the trip, I still wasn't used to the layout. You know, staring out the window, when you suddenly realize that you are on a different side than you are used to. Kinda freaks you out.   Another thing that is different is that it is much cleaner. Life Blueprints

I think with each passing day, I'm figuring out more and more what I want to do in my life. I figure, I could put my effort into things, and get a good job, and have an easy retirement. Or I could just totally flunk and get a minimum wage job at some store and live in something that would be not very comfortable. It's not that I don't put my effort in the things I do, I just didn't notice that these little things are going to build up my life. I figure that next year, I'm going to take Web Desig

Letters

So awhile ago, I wrote a letter to a person in the army (in Iraq) for school community service hours. I just got a return letter today, and I have to say that I feel warm and fuzzy inside that I made someone happy over the Holidays.   On a sidenote, it's the second day of school, and I feel more tired than ever. Having to wake up at 5 AM to get to school at 7 AM is a pain to do.   Anyways, RFoTE: You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television.

Joyness

So, this Saturday my brother is coming down from LA, along with my Dad who is coming back from China. My brother is going to bring me a gunball machine. Yes, a gunball machine, that is uber awesome. Be jealous.   He works for Universal Music Group, as a manager. So he got that gunball machine for free. It's not one of those big ones, but it's like desk size. My dad is bringing me back a Gundam, and he says it's pretty big. If only I could get like a life-sized one.   In other news, I've been

Hecticisity

It's been a tedious week for me. Struggling through homework, projects, and tests while having jetlag is a hard thing to do. I somehow made it through the 1st week of the 4th quarter. Only like 7 more weeks to go.   Anyways, to continue my thoughts about China and Japan, which I should have commented on a week ago, but I just fell asleep on.   I got a new Camera there. It's only available in Japan from what I hear. It's the Canon IXY 20IS (in Maroon). It's pretty nifty, with 8 megapixels (bet

Harry Potter

I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I only have one phrase to experience:   My brain exploded.   There were some unique twists and turns in the story that had me falling out of my chair (and yes, I did fall of my chair, it hurt). I won't say what happens, seeing as there's a topic in COT for that, but the events are pretty amazing. There are a lot of tragic, strange, and awkward moments in the book. The epilogue is what really made me fall out of my chair, because it

Halo-ness Comments

So I was playing Halo PC and Halo 3 the other day for the first time in a month. In that month, I was playing Call of Duty 4. I then went back to playing Halo and noticed a lot of things after getting 40 kills with my pistol alone, and 30 kills with other weapons. I didn't really pay attention to this when I first played Halo, but since I got used to CoD4, they stood out to me. 1. Some players are really bad at Halo. While in CoD4, everyone's pretty much the same. -They kept on staying

Gotcha!

So Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney came out a few days ago, and I'm playing it now. Nothing like the first witness of the game being named Olga Orly. The joys of the Ace Attorney series. You play as a new attorney, named Apollo Justice. Phoenix is still in the game, but as a non playable character. Even though you are playing as Apollo Justice, the story is still kind of focused on Phoenix, and his background in the last 7 years. There's also a new saying, "Gotcha!" (Hence this entry's title)

I did pretty well, until I faced another guy who EV trained. It first started out with a tie, but then somehow, the game connection was lost. The second battle...I chose the wrong Pokemon, and he chose the righ

Fun Toys

So, I'm sure you have seen those cheap Xbox games that come with cereals, that aren't really games you play on the Xbox. Well, my friend gave me a Ninja one out of the "kindness" (More like because he just doesn't want it, and just gave it to me) of his heart. They get a bit addictive over time, and annoy the heck out of people due to the beeping. So basically, if you're bored, want to play something, and want to annoy people, play one of those games near someone.   RFoTE: Cats sleep 16 to 18 h

Freedom

School's out for Christmas break. This means no homework, no class, no "OMGTESTNEXTPERIODSTUDYSTUDYSTUDYSTUDY" shouting. Relaxation.   Until school starts again. -.- And then chaos happens, and everybody is screaming. But that won't happen for two more weeks.   So after two months of being away in China, my Dad is finally coming home bringing me some "souvenirs". Be sure to look on the news about a new country emerging called "Darnz Land- Where your happiest dreams come true".   Random Fact
