Home!? HA! I don't think so!
More like TAKE ME TO AWESOME PEOPLE!
After all I am hanging out with Sisen right now and while the temperature is slowly making my brain melt when I am outside I am still having a ton of fun. Like Sisen's dad teaching me how to ride a Quad
Makes the idea of learning how to ride motorcycles all the more interesting when I get back home.
Anyway, WOOOOOOOOT and talk to y'all later...or rather SEE you later, in some cases (MWUHAHAHAHA)
Peace out!
Sooo, today I leave for Portland. Who knows, I might run into people I know there...
Definitely not the last time I've been in BC though.
*flies off*
PS: Karate Kid was a good movie.
Today has been a bad day for a lot of people I care about and all I can do is to think of this song...
When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on
Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes
Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of t
The first week of the Gamedesign Course is over, the Meet'n'Greet has passed, I still don't know all the names, but we're in-deep into our first project already, after two lectures on Copyright and the History of Videogames, respectively.
Pong was not the first Video-Game btw. I still wish I had a Pong Console-Table here though. Oh well, the Crysis Nano-Edition and AC:B Codey Edition will have do instead
Which leads back to the aforementioned Project: Writing a post-mortem document and pre
It has been quite a busy week for me, though not as stressful as one might expect.
Starting with thursday/friday last week, where I had to get up at 5am to get to work at 6am. They were cleaning out a storage room with files dating back over 30 years. First my colleague and I had to move them out of the room into the hallway, and then into another hallway where we also had to sort them into shelves.
And afterwards we had to get back to our respective jobs in patient-care to work the remaind
*Growls you all welcome to this entry*
I wanted to wish you all a very happy new year 2009. ^^
And don't listen to the bad news from the TV and the papers. Some positive spirit is what we need right now
*hugs to those who want 'em*
Last draconic entry for the year...and I was just getting used to writing 08 in the dates >_<
This could be the saddest dusk
I've ever seen
Turn to a miracle
High alive
My mind is racing
As it always will
My hand is tired, my heart aches
I'm half a world away here
My head sworn
To go it alone
And hold it along
Haul it along
And hold it
Go it alone
Hold it along and hold, hold
This lonely deep sit hollow
I'm half a world
Half the world away
My shoes are gone
My life spent
I had too much to drink
I didn't think
And I didn't think of you
I guess that's all I needed
Working all day for a mean little man
With a clip-on tie and a rub-on tan
He's got me running 'round the office like a dog around a track
But when I get home,
You're always there to rub my back
Hey Julie,
Look what they're doing to me
Trying to trip me up
Trying to wear me down
Julie, I swear, it's so hard to bear it
And I'd never make it through without you around
Hours on the phone making pointless calls
I got a desk full of papers that means nothing at all
Sometimes I catch
So, I got like, 500 new brushes for Photoshop. And I decided to try out the set called "bloodwork"
Mwuhahahahaha! Let's see how I can use that in future art
This school-stuff is really getting to me lately. I never skipped so many classes in the years before, but it seems headaches and generally feeling swamped kinda take over.
Luckily I only have to hang in there for just 15 more days before I can study more relaxed over springbreak.
Sooo....
I lost 400 posts from my account. All my recent art-topics have kicked the bucket...
On the positive side, pre-finals went pretty well with all grades over 60%, and I just noticed, I got my 3-year Huna
No. Not an actual saying, just a songtitle by R.E.M.
Anyway. I was looking through the basement a few days ago and found my dads old guitar. Or not his guitar, just a guitar we owned. Anyway, I tuned it with some help and maybe if I invest enough time I can actually learn to strum a little.
It's just more difficult to switch chords then I initially thought.
And before any of those of you who actually play guitar for real feel inclined to give me tips: I've really just barely started. ^^
9 days of School left. Then I am out and only need to study for the finals.
Finally! Finally! Freedom!
Plus Summer is supposedly coming...
Plus I found out something interesting today.
