I am working on a bionicle music video of sorts, hopefully it will be posted tonight. It features the toa mata and nuva (old nuva lol). And now I will inventory the spoils of war, err... christmas.

A little while ago I posted this entry, announcing my intention to MOC some mechs from the game Chromehounds. I've settled on some things about the project.
•The parts will be modular.
•As soon as my good computer is up and running, I will make Lego Digital Designer files of the mechs and their components for your use.

Well, I have my blog up and running, thanks to premier membership. It is now the second week of school for me here in Minnesota. I'm a freshman at Central High, which is a huge leap from my school of 300 junior high kids to one of almost 2000. It's been going pretty well, partially due to the fact that my old school feeds most of it's graduates into central, so I know a lot of people already... hold on a sec someones IMing me... ok its mac and he wants to know what math im in... ok that was funn
So I've been getting really tired of bionicle MOCs. Maybe its just exposure to the failtastic BBCC 49 entry list, but I have an urge to pick up mecha. So I might hang around and do fusion for a while, or maybe this will just pass by. I don't know. But looking at some mechas online... they're so smooth and shiny! And the colors work so well! So you never know. What I do know is that getting back into system... would cost me. But I got cash.
Is living proof that if a MOC is based on a popular movie/ book franchise, people are more likely to vote for it. Not that there's anything wrong with the MOCs themselves, just the mindset of voters. And on a related note, I'm rather surprised to be ahead of Ca'gerrin.

KOPAKA NUVA:
The canister Kopaka comes in is a return to form (almost) for the canister sets. Gone is the cardboard of 2007. Instead, the can is covered by that rocky/ swampy thing that comes on all the spring canister sets. As I am under the impression that it has not been said, I must mention that the outer shell is not flush with the can. It sits about 1/4 inch above the can's surface. Monday, I arrived at my doorstep to find a rather large box waiting there for me. I pretended not to know what it is, but it was obvious. Because I totally ordered it a week ago. The box contained four sets: Lewa, Kopaka, Antroz, and Kirop. (I also knew this) We shall start with the latter, because he is the first one I built.

Yeah, among other things, I got Yetrax. Although I must say, as usual, that today's sets are just frameworks with little to no flesh, I genuinely enjoyed building it. Also enough money to replace my SRIOUSLY BROKED graphics card. Also new motherboard, processor, RAM, and case. But that's only really because AGP sucks, and you can't really replace a slot in your motherboard. So I'm getting an SLI-ready board w/ 4GB of RAM. Case is silenced, as is my current power supply.
