So, I got all the harry potter books for Krissmuss...

I am now halfway through #5 Order of the Phoenix.

I have one major thing to say on the series as a whole. (Or at least the chunk of it I've read yet.)

DOBBY IS SOOOOO CUTE! *Squee* ^___^

The films are a lot better IMO. Anyway, if you like Dobby, wait until book 7. Something... interesting happens to him. :sly: (BTW I love Dobby too. He's awesomeme.

"Dobby didn't mean to kill. Dobby just meant to maim, or seriously injure..."

best film line ever

You're saying the movies are better than the books? Okay see, I can see you typing words, but it's like they don't match up in a way that makes sense. Did you have a stroke?

Frankly, I think it's the other way around. =X For one thing, the books have superior character development (and don't give the excuse that it's a movie; just look at Lord of the Rings!) Another is the fact that things make more sense in the books than in the movies. I still don't get why the Invisibility cloak is used in every movie except the last one we've seen especially given a certain bit of information get...

On a lighter note: Dobby is great in both. I just wished they showed him more in the films; he appeared in most of the books after the second. :(
