best thing to do is either a) take a break and do something completely different for a few days b) try challenging yourself with something you wouldn't usually draw

Doing studies (1 minute, 5 minute, 30 minutes, etc) will become your saving grace.

Now, that´s a silly thing to say. Partially because it´s obvious that you hate art blocks (who doesn´t?), and partially because those concept art-pics for your comic aren´t lacking neither in ideas or execution.

Make a full-blown art piece on your interpretation of an 'art block.'

Ahhh, I know what you mean. Art Block usually leads me to doing simplistic stuff. For example one time I was just looking out my window at night and so I painted a dark-blue nightsky with the black silhouettes of the houses on my street

Or just rough concepts that are done within a minute, even just writing down ideas, no matter how challenging in actual execution can help.

That second idea sounds definitely interesting - I'll give it a try!

Yeah, I do guess it's obvious. But sadly I'm one of those persons who always talk about something if it in any way moves them (or annoys, or enlightens)

Surprisingly this is exactly what I'm doing right now - and it seems to work!
