World's Hardest Puzzle

-Toa Lhikevikk-

A friend of mine made this and told me to post it in my blog. Well I wouldn't call it the world's hardest, as I figured it out in a few minutes -- (or did I? ;)), along with the math trick behind it.

HINT: It's actually-- [gets sucked into black hole]

EDIT: For the record guys, I just noticed that his handwriting is kinda vague so the numbers of steps required is SIX, no more, no less.

What would a 'step' be defined as?

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. The answer is actually quite simple; it just involves a slightly different method of thinking than what most people are used to using when solving puzzles.

It's impossible, though. The only way to win is '2D style'.

I solved it in 3D style, and believe me, it's very much possible. I'll give you a hint: Loopholes are your friends...

Dude, it's impossible. You can't get there on an even number. :P

Just post how you did it, OK?

Dang it, it turns out my solution wouldn't work. I went from Point A back to Point A again. ARGH. :annoyed:

EDIT: Wait a minute... that puzzle doesn't specify exactly how long a 'step' is. I just might still be in the game -- that is, until Lhikevikk knocks down this theory. :P

1. A step is the journey along one line.

2. The division between steps is defined at the point of connection.

3. As a result, Roablin's solution is still invalid. :)

That would mean that my "7th step" actually wasn't a step.
