It's because I like it.

 

I'm not going to like something just because it's popular, or just because it's unpopular.

 

I'm not going to dislike something just because it's popular, or just because it's unpopular.

 

If I like something then I enjoy it on its merits. It may have its downsides or flaws, but if I think they're outweighed by the upsides I'll put them aside for the sake of enjoyment.

 

If you have different interests then good for you. I'll agree to not call you creepy or unnatural if you can say the same for me.

And this is why I weep for my generation. Just a bunch of people listening to whatever the radio tells them to and next to nobody's ever heard of any real music. :I Also vampire novels much? :P
