It would help if the blog rules were clearer on stuff like this. Sure, frequent bloggers may know about these unwritten rules, but you can't expect everyone to.

I second Cholie's motion. Having more well-defined rules would definitely help bloggers and the staff who moderate them.

It has always been a BZP rule that you can't edit out comments staff members leave, or re-open things they close, etc. Not to mention that you can be like "this entry has nothing to do with BZP, lol", but this is right after you make a comment about "people not getting the joke" in an entry I shut down about a BZP policy written right after an entry about politics was closed that you participated in, directly related to said policy... You're the one who appears to be trolling. Sorry, the only reason I've been active in your blog is because I keep getting reports from it. Since the site has gone back up I've gotten six times more reports form this blog than any other. It's nothing personal.

Okay, here's how the chain of events goes:

1- An entry is posted that is about a topic of conversation that isn't allowed on BZP, in which you comment saying "it's too bad this'll get closed because it's not the "right" side", and people discuss "tolerance" in the comments.

2- The very next entry in your blog is one saying "the policy should go both ways". (Which is ridiculous, but whatever), thereby appearing as if you're trying to restart the other conversation. It doesn't matter if the comments were just jokey, the content of the entry is why it was closed.

3- You make a comment about me not "getting the joke" (of which I still don't see a joke to be had in that entry, that's a very real argument people use all the time to be able to leave offensive and hateful remarks).

4- Then, immediately after that remark, you make this entry talking about people who take things too seriously.

This is why I said it looks like you're trolling.

Also, you can call lies on whatever you want, but the fact of the matter is I have gotten more reports from here than any other blog since the forums went back up.

It's like you're not listening. This is frustrating.

It doesn't matter what has happened in the past with other members and their blogs, though I will tell you right now that I have suspended users' blog priveleges for similar entries taking place at similar events. It's the proximity to another entry that was closed that you had participated in that caused that entry to be closed. It comes across as if you're trying to restart that conversation, and whether or not the comments followed that train of thought or not, after what had come before, that entry seemed like a bad idea and not in line with the ideals of the site, considering that an entry on it had just been closed. Also, not to mention that BZPower's policy on tolerating that specific area has been well-established, the reasoning behind it has been well-established, and so no, if your view means that you are arguing against the reasoning Andrew has laid out, your view is not the one to be respected, because it is the one that is against the rules, because it is mean-spirited and offensive to the point of being malicious.

That's not mean spirited. All I said on that, was, that I believe it's wrong.

Don't try and be cute. I am telling you why your entry was closed, and it was because your entry seemed as a direct continuation of that other entry that was closed, and that one was about gay marriage. No, we don't allow people to post bashing any group, and like I said in your entry, people arguing that we should tolerate their intolerance are being disengenious, trying to be cute. That is what your entry came across as, and that is why it was closed. That is official, and that is the last of it.

It's really not anything personal. Notice I haven't closed any other entries of yours, or attempted to stop your pony talk, or any other items I personally find annoying? I didn't even close your BBC entry where you were purposefully trying to poke fun at me. Because none of those were against the rules, and the way it appeared, the other one was. You're welcome to continue blogging to your heart's content, and that's what I'd rather see. I'm not trying to harsh your mellow or come after you personally. I'm just upholding the rules.

You say you don't allow anyone to bash any group, yet I've seen it. And those who are against it, are also a group, but I suppose it's all a matter of what you believe.
