Torchwood is clearly the only really different one. I mean, it's British. Totally breaks the pattern.

It's almost a shame that you're starting with Children of Earth: Day One, since CoE is far and away the best series of Torchwood. Series 2 is pretty good as well, but you should probably just avoid series 1 and 4 (Miracle Day).

Yeah, Children of Earth is pretty much considered the best episodes by everyone, which is kinda why I chose to watch it.
