Not sure why Trixie needed a last name but I kinda like it.

I thought Trixie was her last name.

Her first name was obviously "The Great and Powerful."

I had seen that a lot of people seemed to accept Lyra Heartstrings as a compromise FAR before this official-ness happened, so it's quite pleasing seeing this.

I really want the Trixie one, but I can't get it without getting strange looks and being laughed at.

So looked it up

Lyra Heartstrings is indeed a canon name, and is being used on recent products. "Trixie Lulamoon" has yet to appear anywhere, but it appears to be derived from a recent toy named Lulamoon, which has the exact same design as Trixie, and are likely the same character.

Well there you have it

Seeing as they had to do something with the names to make them copyrightable, it's nice that they went with the way the fans reconciled the toy and show names.

That said, Trixie Lulamoon sounds a LOT more awkward than Lyra Heartstrings.
