Chols Posted March 13, 2012 Not sure why Trixie needed a last name but I kinda like it. Quote Link to comment
Sumiki Posted March 13, 2012 I thought Trixie was her last name. Her first name was obviously "The Great and Powerful." Quote Link to comment
Hahli Husky Posted March 13, 2012 Wait so all our fighting over Lyra/Heartstrings was for naught?? Quote Link to comment
BioGio Posted March 13, 2012 First and foremost: [citation needed] Wait so all our fighting over Lyra/Heartstrings was for naught?? I had seen that a lot of people seemed to accept Lyra Heartstrings as a compromise FAR before this official-ness happened, so it's quite pleasing seeing this. Quote Link to comment
Scanty Demon Posted March 13, 2012 I really want the Trixie one, but I can't get it without getting strange looks and being laughed at. Quote Link to comment
Chols Posted March 13, 2012 So looked it up Lyra Heartstrings is indeed a canon name, and is being used on recent products. "Trixie Lulamoon" has yet to appear anywhere, but it appears to be derived from a recent toy named Lulamoon, which has the exact same design as Trixie, and are likely the same character. Bambi Posted March 13, 2012 Actually Chols, the name is on the Trixie blind bag. Quote Link to comment
Lyichir Posted March 14, 2012 Seeing as they had to do something with the names to make them copyrightable, it's nice that they went with the way the fans reconciled the toy and show names. That said, Trixie Lulamoon sounds a LOT more awkward than Lyra Heartstrings. Quote Link to comment
