Oh my gosh, I'm so glad somebody agrees. I tried to watch the first episodes, and ... honestly, when your abridged episodes are almost as long as the original episodes and the jokes are less funny than the original show jokes, it just doesn't work. =/ At least not in my opinion. Tried to watch some recent episodes too, and they still don't interest me. Oh well! I LOVE the entire Mentally Abridged series, though, as well as the Rainbow Dash Presents: Captain Hook the Biker Gorilla (Rainbow Factory).

The creators have said that it's not an abridged series, more like an alternate-future version of FiM.

I don't think it's the best thing ever created, but the canon they introduce and the editing they do is wicked impressive. Plus Pinkie's Brew = <3
