I am usually not a fan of musical pieces in cartoons, but each of the three songs in the season finale blew me away.

I'm a HUGE fan of the musical numbers in My Little Pony, which is part of why I liked this season finale better than The Return of Harmony. Although it also makes it really hard to judge this episode against last season's finale, which I feel better wrapped up the season and featured the spectacular "At the Gala". That's not to say that this episode was worse, just that it would work equally well as a season opener, and thus was less of a finale in my mind.

I might be several episodes behind... So I'll take your word for it.

Good lord, that was one of the three songs I spent all day listening to. It's frustratingly awesome.

I think this might actually be my favourite song of the show. Villain songs tend to have that power.
