Not my appendix. Thankfully. My crohns disease is flaring up though. The ileum and illecocal valve next to the appendix are inflamed, and that is the narrowest part of the appendix to begin with. Solid food traveling through there just won't happen, without pain and consequences... They gave me some steroids and I'm off work the next two days.

 

Jello and gatorade diet for now though.

Yowch. Sorry to hear that.

 

Good it wasn't the appendix, though. Mine burst about eight years ago, and it was not a fun experience, to say the least.

Ugh, you should be glad it's not your appendix. I had appendicitis once, not a part of life I'll look back fondly on.
