I say if we make a map where someone creates stuff, they should not play competitively in that round. In this case that should have been you and me :P

Aaaand we should totally do a "blow stuff up" game >:B

see though the thing is

MI has made the maps for the past three

and he's made that pretty well clear

and it was no secret that he made this one

it's really your own fault if you didn't notice, really.

Well, like Chols said, those involved with the creation of the map shouldn't play competitively. It's really not fair when he knew where the wool was. I understand you think it is, but while we are running all over the place trying to find it, he already knew where to look.

never said it was fair, I just think the reaction was incredibly stupid.

also, you say that now

but

you still played even though you knew he made the map so like

if you don't think the mapmaker should play, why didn't you say anything?

I mean really come on guys this isn't rocket science

Except I went back over everything.

MI never said he made the map. Ever.

Just because he made maps before doesn't mean anything.

The only wool gathering match we've had before he didn't make.

So logic actually would dictate that due to precedence he did not make this one.

Hiding diamond only he (and Cholie, fine, b ut he didn't announce it) was simply unfair. You can't make that sound fair because it's not. No, we can't just assume it's there. Why should we?? We should assume it's made fair for everyone.

I'm also pretty sure that if you were on the losing side of things, you'd be making the same arguments.

Because if everyone specifically knew beforehand that the mapmaker would:

  • Hide a cache of diamonds for "anyone" to find
  • Not tell or hint where the diamonds are hidden
  • Not state or even strongly imply that there was a cache of diamonds somewhere
  • Act upon that knowledge, immediately gathering and using the diamonds to gain an upper hand and win the match

Then it would be kind of stupid to play in the first place.

I'm not going to dwell on it though. I know it's not going to happen again, and aside from that, it wasn't a bad game overall. The map was really awesome, and I was still able to eventually find all the wool myself (despite ALL THE MOBS, HOLY MOOSHROOM THERE WERE SO MANY MOBS).

Oh just like the issue with the very first BZPC, I'm just gonna move on too. But it needed said.

I was pretty familiar with the moderator that made this map, but never used it, so I'm glad I finally got a chance to. I'm really disappointed in myself for only legitimately finding one type of wool, though... The mobs were the major reason for that.

And I did get obsessive with revenge on you, AT, and Cholie while Bambi was gathering resources... That didn't help.
