Oh yeah I also once saw a house that had a plastic Santa head on it for a whole year.

No one ever took it down. I think it eventually fell off.

^ Heh, we had a house like that in our neighborhood. Some people feel that its just not worth it to take them down if they're just going up again the next year.

But, yeah, we should definitely not have any Christmas music until at least after Thanksgiving, if not later.

I keep forgetting Thanksgiving is a thing.

Psh, our Walmart already set up all the Christmas decorations.

Huge pet peeve of the year. Halloween is highly under-rated by stores (one of my favorite holidays. Also, poor Thanksgiving. It's such a nice holiday. All of the family actually being thankful and a big feast).

I remember one year our class wanted to listen to Christmas music on a slow day in October. Totally killed the mood. D=

Oh hi there

In my neighborhood, there's one house that, every year, goes all-out for Halloween. Like UFO-on-the-roof-frankenstein-and-wife-haunted-house-ricketty-fence-flying-ghouls-brain-in-a-jar-bats-in-the-trees-red-lights-emerging-zombies all-out. Yeah. Really crazy. They start putting it up in about late September.

Good gracious.

Obviously they don't like trick-or-treaters. Seriously, would you Trick-or-Treat at a house that already had Christmas lights up?

Okay, I would, provided it was on my route. Who knows, they might have chocolate oranges or something.

Wonder if any place around here has Valentine's Day stuff out yet...
