Can't be, because I've never played Kid Icarus. But as said, the design is not really that original, so... eyeball monsters are quite common.

Oh? Why that?

This one is actually a fair bit cuter. I think it's the fact it's just one giant eye. Probably deeply unsettling to get into a staring contest with but at least it's not a giant hungry mouth.

It reminds me of Halloween, which is probably my favorite holiday.
