I think the Skylanders model of gaming has potential—imagine if you could have used your Bionicle figures in video games and could transfer your character's data using the figures alone! But at the current stage of my life, it'd take more than a moderately enjoyable game to get me to part with wads of cash for static, unposeable figurines of characters I've never heard of.
