Lyichir Posted August 17, 2015 Colors have a lot of symbolic connotations. Red, being the color of blood, carries implications of violence, but that symbolism has traditionally been used to convey both the concept of evil and the concept of virility and heroism. There's a reason that in many color-coded "hero teams" in fiction, the red character becomes the leader or most prominent member. Bionicle uses red as a secondary color to black for evil characters, while red as a primary color (often with secondary colors like orange, yellow, or gold) is often used for heroic, fire-aligned characters. 1 Quote Link to comment
