And Again...
Yaaaaaay.
...
Plx? =<
Yeah, it seems to be a rather brutal poll this time for some reason... everyone has something to say about the entries.
While I understand the color scheme argument (I personally like it, but it looks like plenty disagree) I would like to point out something to someone who posted a comment that confused me for a moment until I realized what they were saying. Apparently they were complaining that the fin would look different from the other side. Uh, I know they've already voted, but to set the record straight it's the angle: there ARE two fins, it's perfectly symmetrical. They're opened up sorta like wings.
But holy cow some people are harsh. I'm seeing stuff like "worst MoC" and "doesn't deserve it" and all that stuff...
I have opinions as well, but I ain't gonna voice them like that! oO
I am rather disappointed by the big ones taking the lead again, though. I know there are plenty of very impressive large MoCs but some are just... big, and nothing else, you know? I'd like to see a small entry make it through to the top in a contest with no size limit. Like I said, I have nothing against large entries, it's just that with two entries of equal building skill and creativity and such, the size always ends up the deciding factor.
Like, I really liked Makaru's Fanglyfuss, and it could probably fit in my palm, but it was very well built, completely solid color, and looked very good overall. And, of course my image experience gives me bias, but the Leviathan was just, like, cut out, you know, and it was a decent picture but the Fanglyfuss was definitely better photographed. I know that a large MoC is harder to photograph, but still... why the massive amounts of black? It just looks odd.
Yeah... really should have advanced to the finals, but alas...
I wonder why it didn't make it in as the fifth one, there were only 4 semis, and last I checked it was quite close to the Leviathan.
Huh.
