So what has Omi been up to?

Well for starters I picked up Meaghan on Thursday evening and she stayed over my house for the night. It was pouring rain and it was a terrible drive there and back. Ugh.

Friday was great. I skipped school and drove all the way to Syracuse, New York with Meaghan to visit some friends of ours, Samantha and Kevin. First thing we did was play video games, considering their living room is a gamer's dream.

It is setup for both of them: 2 widescreen HD TVs, 2 Xboxs, 2 PS2s, a Wii, and an Xbox 360. Plus they have an entire shelf of many, many, many, many games.

Then we ordered some awesome, tasty, chinese food. MMMMMMMMMM

We kicked off Saturday with some cosplaying. Sam, being an FF cosplayer, had an Ashe costume that I wanted to see in person since she did an incredible job. She wouldn't wear it originally at Otakon since Baltimore is windy and the outfit consists of a miniskirt. But she wouldn't mind wearing it at her home.

So I brought my Balthier, and Meaghan wore her Rikku. And yes it was cold that day.

After the amazing photoshoot, we headed over to the Carousal Mall (which will eventually be the new bigger Mall of America, called Destiny USA). Then we went to a collectible store that had some excellent rarities for a great price. Then we heaed back to their place and chilled and played more games. I played Itadaki Street Special (basically Monopoly except with FF and Dragon Quest stuff). I was doing alright for my first time, but Sam really laid one on Meaghan and I and totally owned us.

And then Sunday I drove back. But this time I drove all the way to Meaghan's house, which is farther. So rest assured I was tired. I rested a bit at Meaghan's and drove home a few hours ago.

And I come home to some new Lego purchases (for upcoming FF models), and also the FFVII: Crisis Core music, which has tracks from the original FF game revamped for this prequel. And I like it.
