The Fifth Of November

Happy November!

November the fifth, to be precise... Guy Fawkes day...

Oh, Halloween. It was very fruitful, largely in the way of chocolate, which is quite welcome... Leigh Ann, Brook, Jenn and I wound up being the ones to go trick-or-treating, along with two of Jenn's friends. Yes, we did get a fair few raised eyebrows from the people giving out candy. Whee. :D But we had fun. Jumped in a pile of leaves. Skipped in unison for a few seconds, which caused my hat to fall off...

"Are you like a crazy person?" – Lowell, who used that line on me once during the day. I responded accordingly. I did get to recite the full introduction speech three times... anyway, the picture doesn't appropriately convey the angularity of the mask, and I know the hat is wrong... but it looked quite cool during the day, if I do say so myself.

Yay for making Halloween entries five days after the fact!

And I don't understand Daylight Savings Time. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the sun set later in the day (relatively) during the winter, when it already sets earlier than in summer?

Remember, remember, the fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot.
