Awesome mask name, power, and personalities. These two are my favorite by far.

By the way, are you going to write blog entries on the good Matoran and the Nuva as they are now? We don't know much about their current status...

But Jimmybob, we already have masks covering all those powers, none of which are in this design, so giving him a power that already exists in another mask shape would just be confusing. The point of giving him this mask was that, combined with Kirop, he robs you of all your senses. Makes it kinda hard to fly if you can't see, hear or speak.

It (the combination) is also highly effective against armies. Robbing the sight and hearing of people in the army would prevent them from seeing or hearing the signals that leaders of the army give, which also messes up strategies or formations.

This mask power is one of my favorite by far. I still can't decide between the Makuta and their Av-Matoran allies, though.

kanohi shelek, awesome, I read about the mask of silence on lego shop site, but now I know more about chirox's personality and how the mask is named.

I don't really like chirox, I think antroz is better, much better, he's a perfect leader.

It seems like the Makuta's mask powers are upgraded versions of one of their kraata powers, doesn't it?

Wow. Combined, that's making an enemy blind, deaf, and mute. Now how will the Toa get past that?

I don't see how Shelek can be considered a bad mask by Toa, but neat all the same.

 

Kirop sounds awesome, although his sentence has some spelling errors.

 

I guess it would be kind of underhand. Cheating kind of...I think most masks Toa use help them and not hurt someone.

Toa...of...Destral? There aren't any Toa on Destral, as far as I know. I believe Chirox was just saying that was what they do to Toa who make it on to Destral or something like that.

Well yes, I understand why he could not have those particular powers because of the limitations of the set. I'm just saying this mask's powers seem kind of not-powerful when you're talking about a Makuta. Surely he could be sneaky and quiet enough to not need his enemies to be deaf, and making someone mute may give a villian a sick pleasure, but enough for 2 different Makuta to have the mask as their main one? Seems pretty unlikely to me. The Kirop combo does sound powerful, but 95% of that is cuz of the blind part.

Overall 2008 is looking great so far.

And oddly, I invented a Kanohi Mask of Silence,

but the way it worked is different than the Shelek.

Can't say I'm a fan of the mask power. Maybe it's just me, but I can't picture anyone choosing a deaf/mute mask when one could have, oh, shielding, teleportation, intangibility, mind control... etc etc...

well dude, think about the posibilities. If you have that type of power it would be easier to ambush a team. Alot easier to pick them of one by one. To add fear to the story as well
