Below is an update on the weather forecast by the Hong Kong Observatory:

Cold Weather Warning

 

The Cold Weather Warning is now in force.

 

The Hong Kong Observatory is forecasting cold weather in

Hong Kong this morning.

 

As Hong Kong is being affected by a cold winter monsoon,

people are advised to put on warm clothes and to avoid

adverse health effects due to the cold weather. You must

also ensure adequate indoor ventilation.

 

If you must go out, please avoid prolonged exposure to

wintry winds.

 

If you know of elderly persons or persons with chronic

medical conditions staying alone, please call or visit them

occasionally to check if they need any assistance.

 

Make sure heaters are safe before use, and place them away

from any combustibles. Do not light fires indoors as a

means to keep warm.

 

Whatever the temperature, please ensure that there is

plenty of fresh air in your room when you are using an

old-type gas water heater.

由 於 本 港 現 正 受 到 寒 冷 冬 季 季 候 風 影 響 ， 市 民 應 注

意 保 暖 ， 多 穿 禦 寒 衣 物 ， 以 防 因 嚴 寒 影 響 健 康 ， 並

應 保 持 室 內 空 氣 流 通 。

 

如 必 須 外 出 ， 應 避 免 長 時 間 置 身 在 寒 風 中 。

 

如 你 認 識 獨 居 的 長 者 或 慢 性 病 患 者 ， 請 間 中 致 電 或

探 訪 他 們 ， 看 看 是 否 需 要 提 供 幫 助 。

 

市 民 用 暖 爐 或 暖 風 機 時 ， 請 注 意 消 防 安 全 ， 遠 離 易

燃 物 件 ， 及 避 免 電 力 負 荷 過 重 ， 並 切 勿 於 室 內 生 火

取 暖 。

 

不 論 氣 溫 多 少 ， 當 使 用 舊 式 氣 體 燃 料 熱 水 爐 時 ， 要

確 保 室 內 有 大 量 清 新 空 氣 。
