MBC 2: Mini MOC Contest

 

That's right! I have listened to your requests, and have made a new Contest!

 

This one will be better for those MOCers who have trouble building big! :P

 

Your objective: Build a MOC of a nasty critter or creature that resides in the Great Tree!

 

Entries begin being accepted as soon as this topic is posted, and will stop being accepted on Monday, March 4th at 11:59 P.M. EST. I will accept unlimited entries for this contest, so there's no need to rush your entry.

 

To enter, simply post a link to your .jpg, .gif or .png entry picture in this blog entry. Your entry post in this blog contest should appear as follows:

You really don't need a topic, but you will probably make one anyway.

 

Rules:

 

1) MOC must be no taller than 4" and no longer than 5".

2) It Must be a critter or creature: no Matoran or Toa, etc.

3) Only one MOC per entry, but you may have multiple MOCs of the same creature if you want.

4) It must be a NEW creation that has not been posted on BZPower before.

5) No non LEGO parts aloud please. I'm sure everyone knows that<<<

6) No painted parts please.

 

Prizes:

 

The one winner will have the critter as an official character (with their own BIO) in my upcoming Epic, as well have their own content block with whatever they want in it! Also, kardasnui3797(Bunda) has added an extra prize to those also. The winner will also be featured in his epic!

 

Second place will have their own content block as well.

 

Update: shadownewva5982 will donate his Gold Hau for 1st place and a Gold Akaku/Kakama for 2nd place (whatever Pohatu's mask is).

 

Voting:

 

Voting begins AT NOON on Wednesday, and will last from March 5th-10th. I will tally up the entries then.

 

The voting process will have no favorites. The finalist MOCs depend solely on the number of votes that the people replying in the topic give. Each person can only vote and reply once. However, if enough people enter, I will make multiple "polls". If you wish to null vote, say so. Of course, vote for your MOC if you want to.

 

Therefore, let's see some entries people! Let the contest begin!

Change in rules! The creature does not have to be a bad critter anymore. You can enter cute or whatever, as long as it still fits the size! :)

Heard about this contest and decided to give it a whirl. Mini MOCs aren't my strong point- I have a tendency to build too big. However, I did manage to come up with this little guy...

Okay, a little late, but:

Edit: Got a bio.

 

Bio: Squiggles are small creatures, practically at the bottom of the food chain. They like to live in trees to hide from their predators, although they have one way to defend themselves. When they feel that they are in danger, they emit a sleeping gas from their tail so they can escape from the predator while it is asleep.

I think mine might be a bit too big... if it is I won't be able to enter. Since I sent you that pic a few days ago I lengthened the legs, but he's usually squating, so I don't think there should be a problem.

Entry Name: The Greater Slappy Fly

The Greater Slappy Fly is a common species of insects thay reside in the Great Tree. Their distinct name comes from them slapping those that threaten them and the Lesser Slappy Fly with their large wings. The Lesser Slappy Fly is a lesser breed that have a parasitic relationship with the Greater. The Lessers hold on to the Greater, but they don't do much else. I guess it's not really parasitic.

Traba-Elephantidae, a rare sub-species of elephant know to inhabit the upper branches of large trees. Due to their inexplicable habit of slipping, and tumbling down onto passers-by, they gained the the nickname Elephail.

Bio: Jaka are mischievous little buggers who live in trees. They love to play jokes and pranks on Matoran and other Rahi, and they are surprisingly smart. To make up for their lack of speed, they have amazing camouflage, which only the keenest eyes can spot.

Bio: The Squkak is a mutant squirrel of our world. They eat mostly plants off of the Great Tree. They are very fast and are good climbers.

Please don't complain about customness!!! I had 5 minutes to build it.

I don't think that it's right if we vote for ourselves. The majority of the people who view your blog are the ones that enter, so I think that each person should vote for an entry that isn't theirs.
