I didn't use any photo editing software to do this. I'll see if you can guess how...

Pieces of note I used are:
One giant Faxon from TTC.
Twenty full tentacles, and four half-tentacles.
LOTS of fire. I don't care to count.
One orange Metru eyepiece.
Six Onua Mata claws.
Three Nuhvok shields.
Two Nuhvok body plates.
Two Bohrok head plates.
Four Rhotkuka ripcords.
One Turaga Whenua drill.
One minifig fishing rod.
One Tridax pod half.
Two Rahkshi heads.
Two black mini-Piraka spines.
Two black Vahki heads.
One of those half ovals that goes on the back of Toa Ignika's sled.
Various fairings.
Two black Inika shoulder armors.
Two black Mahri breathing tubes.
One Makuta Phantoka body.
Two black Kalmah tentacles.

Whew! Man, I didn't realise I used that many interesting pieces. Anyway, if you survived that... um... I think that the summer 2008 sets will be full of WIN and awesome by the time they are released. Toyfair sucks at posing.

  • Take off the Whenua drill, it looks silly sticking out the back like that.
  • I don't like the amount of Cajun tails per "foot," they look tacked on. Smooth the feet so the bumps in top of the tails don't look odd, and it would look much better. Perhaps some sort of sleeve over the top of the tails?
  • The front forward most "hands" (the Vahki head with the two tails and small black gear) suffer the same problem as the "feet," however, I'd like to see them replaced entirely with crab claws (after a short arm, of course).

Also, great work. Can't wait to see better pictures =D

With what piece would you suggest I use to smooth the feet out? Methinks you wouldn't mind the tentacles so much if you saw it in person. Hopefully it'll look good in the final pic. In other words, I really don't want to change them.

Should I replace the Whenua drill or just get rid of it? Does the same apply to the fishing rod?

The hands were a WIP anyway, but how does one make crab claws using only black?

@smoothing: TECHNICs tire that could fit over all three tails? Great Rurus? Small TECHNIC construction buckets?

 

@Whenua drill/fishing rod: I'd kill them both, and not replace anything.

 

@crab claws: Bohrok body halves? Bohrok head halves? SLIZER bodies? TECHNIC panels? Rahkshi backs? Metru bodies? Bohrok feet? Mata feet?

K, I scrapped the fishing rod/Whenua drill. It looks better already.

And work on the claws has begun... methinks they may be too heavy, though.

And even though I took the rod off OD, I'm still using it in my entry...

But the second MOC is mini. Still cool. It's a bit more system than OD...
