Now then, I've been working on this entry for awhile... and there is a reason I am posting it today. Today is the birthday of a long time friend of mine. (Not CzaR, he is a friend but I found out his birthday was today only yesterday.) Thus this was posted on February 22nd, 2008.

Long ago, I had a good friend, Chaz, however I had to move. Thus we sadly lost contact, however about a year ago I managed to get his IM, so now we can still chat in every once in awhile. Which makes me quite happy.

I've had many friends, he was one of the best. However when I moved I wasn't popular... yet I eventually got new friends. Some of whom may act moronic from time to time such as when we play video games, but they are friends nonetheless.

The thing with friends is they are important, in many different ways. Friends are there to have fun with each other, however there are many other things that are important. Friends are there to support each other when things get difficult in life. Some people push their friends away when things get difficult, to this I say: Don't! That hurts a friendship even more, however, instead let them help you. That's what friends are for. Remember, things aren't half as bad when somebody cares.

Friends are people you can rely on, through thick and through thin. Even if you need a shoulder to cry on, your friends should always be there for you. If you need room or some time to yourself let them know, they will help you when you need their company. Good friends will help you with problems or when you are in need.

I'd like to think that I would do that for my friends.

Now I have many friends on BZP too, many of whom I'd do a lot for. There are two in particular that stand out. Kinali and Alku. Honestly if it weren't for them I'd have left BZPower long ago, why? I was losing interest in BZPower at the time, they kept me interested. Then the blogs were created, you guys know the rest of the story.

I have many friends on BZP, I'd make a list but it would be quite long. And this list isn't including staff. The reason I'm not posting it, is I don't want to leave anyone out.

Now, I'd like to thank Kinali and Alku for being such good friends. How? I'll send them a small gift.

Kinali will get the Mario pin. Alku will get the Donkey Kong pin. I will keep the Samus pin. They will be a symbol of our friendship. Even though I haven't met them, I've spoken to them many different times. We have become good friends because of it. Someday we will meet. (Probably at a Lego convention. ) When we do meet the pins will be reunited again.

Thanks guys. We've talked about a lot and been through a lot. We've supported each other when it was needed. And for this, I thank you.

It doesn't matter how far apart someone is, but they can still become good friends.

P.S. If something happens to me and the Samus pin vanishes, all blame is to go on Janus.
