It is a very vague reselblence, at best, but I doubt the set designers used that as inspiration for Onua's shield thing.

And I have no idea where you can buy that bootleg, since I just saw it now.

Surprised nobody's pointed out that the new joints resemble the bootleg's joints.

I dunno. I see few similarities besides how it attaches in that one set; in Bitil and Axalara it is used entirely differently. In terms of appearance I can't see the slightest likeness.

You're not serious, are you? It's hideous. I realise the Toa Mistika were something of a disappointment, but come on - that bootleg looks like something a kid with too much access to cheap plastic and a vacuum former would make for their Design Technology project.

Plus it appears to have some sort of aqua-jaundice.
