Communications Research & Story Meeting

It's been kind of a rough week, and it's going to get longer...

On Tuesday, my hard drive went out - fortunately, I only lost a few days worth of stuff, nothing I can't recreate. Since I'm paranoid, I back up pretty regularly, so I didn't lose much. Except for two days where I couldn't really do my work.

Right now, I'm in Raleigh, NC doing some communications research with the marketing team. The flight from Billund was brutal - we missed our connection in Washington, DC because the Customs line was so long. So we had an extra four and a half hours to wait. It turned into a 23-hour long start-to-finish travel day. Brutal is the only word.

In a couple of days we're having another story meeting. That should be interesting. I have lots of ideas and even more questions. Then we're talking about the second half of 2008. So it'll be a busy few days until I get back to Denmark.

But on the plus side, most of the local sites are completed, except the Portuguese and Spanish language sites. They'll be a little late.

Those Customs officers didn't stop you for bringing a floating head and gears with you, right? :P

Sorry bout your PC, Hope nothing on BIONICLE.com and BIONICLEstory.com get delayed too much. :(

So while in NC I assume Joe Meno popped in to get an article/interview out of you.... :)

And if I had known you were in DC I would have found you....

Ouch. Just like when my computer crashed two years ago and everything I ever did on it was gone... *Shudders.*

If I might suggest something for the site later this year: Lots of pictures of the swamp. I'm very excited about that location and I want a good idea of what it looks like... We got a gajillion pictures in the old days and we've been very lacking in them recently. 2008's starting to go on the right track and it could be perfect if we got lots later on.

Plus it could make the site look very good...

EDIT: Sorry if this is a bit off-topic. I was referring to the fourth paragraph on the second half of 2008 and, upon rereading it, I see it has relatively little to do with what I said... But still!

Hey, Bink. As I already stated in a comment for "February Update", the Polish site is very badly translated. Read my comment in the "February Update" entry.
