Miserix

This is really more of an FYI than anything else, as many of you already guessed this -- but to make it official, the grand prize winner of the BrickMaster Makuta Building Contest will be considered Makuta Miserix for the purposes of the story.

Awesome! Wait... Makuta building contest? I haven't received the magazine yet, is this BrickMaster exclusive?

We'll see him in the May issue ?

I knew it but I hoped that it was...

do you know if there are combiners for this year?

There will be combiners in LEGO Magazine, not as sets for sale or in building instructions to the best of my knowledge.

And yes, the contest was BrickMaster exclusive in January.

Hmm, this doesn't make too much sense. The contest page said that the BoM was calling in all their members or whatever, so make one of them. Miserix was supposed to be killed, so why would they trust him? Also, why would we have to describe his personality and role in the Brotherhood if that's already been established?

Hopefully they'll choose a great one for the winner, and not something a 8-year old threw together in 5 minutes. :P

YES.

Thank the gods, this means Miserix will actually look good and coherent and won't be forced together with an odd color scheme like Spiriah was.

Ditto. I'm hoping for a really good MOC.

I knew it! Kind of. So, will the winner be in the May Lego Magazine or just in the BrickMaster edition? Also, are there unofficial runner-ups? Will the runner-ups if any, appear in the Magazine?

Sorry for all these questions,

I'd laugh in your direction if it was a random jumble of pieces made by a three year old. :P

We all figured this out, but did the maker do anything stupid like give it a Krahkaan or Avohkii? Or wouldn't that be chosen if they did?

Riiiiight.

We can only hope for a Krakua-esque model, but, of course, Makuta-like.

So, this made me think of two things:

Yes! I was the first to guess this. :P

No! I knew I should have joined Brickmaster and entered.

NOOOOOOO!

*Grmbgrmblgrmbl*

I made my entry large(Well, Icarax size), bulky, and Tridax-weilding.

I imagine Miserix as a Tridaxless, blue, Chirox. With a staff.

*Glances at VtG* Well, good news is, if my entry wins, it won't be very complicated, compared to...Go look in either contest winner-based guide, OK?

I suddenly noticed my overinflated ego.

There were twenty-odd (or more; I don't recall) Dark Hunters. There were a bunch of Rahi that didn't win the grand prize. Some of those were great; others were terrible. But of Tahtorak, Krakua, and CF's Piraka Fusion, all of those three grand prize winners were quite good. Y'see?

But the majority of the Dark Hunters winners looked like sea sludge. I feel sure there were better entries than what made it in.

Still, I'll cross my fingers for this one. Too bad it's brickmaster, so they'll be pulling from a smaller group.

Might I ask what the point of the essay was then?

Regardless, figures as much, but it's still nice to know :P
