Just thought of a bright side; you still have Mag, someone who understands and is willing to comfort you. If I had something like this happen, I'd have my mother either saying I was too good for the job or that other people have it worse, my brother telling me how I was stupid to get fired and my father would probably be the only one helping, but something tells me Mag would be more comforting.
