I'm tired of it. Very, very tired. The link to the BBC Forum Guidelines. To all the Spammers, I suggest you read it, because I report what I think is spam. Speaking of which, how I classify Spam:
Off Topic Spam: Spam that is, you guessed it, off topic, irrelivant, and completely unneccessarry. It can comandeer a topic and drive it to the point of sheer mindless babel.
Generic Spam: Spam that can be applied to anything in general. Spam that someone can use by just popping into a topic, read the title, and go "Cool, nice weapon, 99999.99/10.10202093!" or "This is bad! :angryface: 4.3234543/9.892839!!" Also potentially topic ruining, mindless babel used to up post count.
Spam: Completely pointless, mindless garbage. Classic exapmles are "'Quote someone else' Ditto/ I agree" and "lol" as the only thing in your post. I'm okay with the ditto thing in other forums besides the BBC, as sometimes that provides an accurate answer, but in the BBC, when you don't add onto what they said, you're not helping the builder at all, and you're probably doing it to increase your post count.
Now, I don't expect everyone to write a paragraph about the MOC, but when you review it, include detail, be specific about what you want changed. And don't use number ratings. I know, some of you will say "But Primus, you used number ratings." That's true, I did. And I regret it. But I always had a longer comment about the MOC with my number rating, instead of "ZOMG, Awesome! 10.32843284/1.190192823!1!11!1!"
Just because BZPower is a forum for children doesn't mean that we have to act like children when we post. I don't expect a complex vocabulary, on the contrary, sometimes that makes you seem even more childish. I just expect you to say what you like about the MOC, what you don't like, how they can improve, something about the MOC. Be specific, be helpful, be courteous. And don't spam.
