People do the same to me. Generally I just check my friends every month and add whoever's added me. They've done nothing and want to be my friend, no harm done in letting them.

I have the same thing happen to me. I wonder why they even added me in the first place. I happen to tend to take the word "friend" literally, and only add people to my list if we are genuinely close friends on this site. Obviously, these people seem to know us, but don't really understand that we don't know them. Perhaps they think that by adding us to their friends list, we will want to become best buds with them. Whatever. I can hardly remember all of their names, let alone had a good time in the past with them. The strange thing is, they never talk with me again, even though I'm apparently their "friend". It doesn't make much sense.

EW, I'll show you that I too can generate metaphorical phrases.

I feel like I'm standing next to an apple tree. An apple falls down on my head, briefly alerting me of its existence, but quickly vanishing as it rolls into the tall grass. I never get a chance to taste the apple, just know that among all the hundred of apples in the tree, this one happened to fall on me.
