The person we chose was chosen specifically because he can keep the flavor of Leigh's art. We weren't looking to do another radical change in style, since Leigh's art is so popular.

Don't know how long the chapter books will be yet - I have an okay to make them a bit longer if I want to, but may not have the time to do so. We'll see how it flows once I get writing. It took me a while to find a "voice" I liked for the 2009 material -- so I am kind of calling on the style I used back when I did River of God way back when.

I like the way you make it Comic 1-Comic 2-Book 1-etc. Although I don't like how there are only two books and the first one's gonna be realeased in June. Oh well, perhaps the movie will bring sales up and there'll be lots of books again.

Please do Greg. My siblings, friends, as well as myself really disliked the "Sayger Skeletons", Gallagher was a breath of fresh air for us.

Aww, I liked Leigh... Well, while we're at it, let's get a new colorist. If we're gonna have a 2001-feel we'll need more vibrant colors.

Oh, and hooray for all-new story in the chapter book. This is what I've been wanting for years!

4) Story will flow like this -- January comic, March comic, then the first chapter book, which will lead into the July comic. So the chapter book will not duplicate story from the comics or vice versa.

I hope that they change the colouring because Leigh's art looks strange with that kind of colouring.

Sayger's colouring was cool.

Yes, but Sayger didn't color. I will miss Leigh, He was a great artist and a funny guy (I should know ) I hope the colorist stays on. His colors are vibrant, but they bring out some darker tones too.

Don't think there are plans to change colorist -- I doubt they will go back to the Sayger-era coloring style, as the Brand team feels the comic looked too dark in 2006-2007 and it put a lot of younger fans off.
