Can't deny BIONICLE's changed, but I think it's gotten better than 01 in many ways. Although, I can understand how these guys feel it's "ruined". They've moved on to kids with different tastes.

the storyline may be ruined and any trace of a deep plot is gone.. but these new super action sets will provide some decent parts... oh well?

i say we have a revolt and only post reviews and comments about 01 and 02 sets, not even discussing the facts that 2009 will ruin this wonderful line?

But with a new story there will be new mysteries and therefore a hopefully deeper plot. =D

People really hated those things back then. They were used to sets that were similar to previous years, and 06 was a big shocker to them.

To them, Bionicle was ruined. And they had a valid reason. The sets had cheesy grins, guns, which were unheard of in BIONICLE sets, no action feature besides Zamor Launchers, and the canister sets had no really masks.

Now that I look at these again and again, my suspicions rise, especially about the "piraka". I'm seeing what looks like guns on these guys, which would be breaking Lego's "no weapons" policy.

If lego came out with these as the new awsome sets well I'll just kill myself becasue those suck. I hate every part of them. The matoran are so unmatoran looking it is horrible. It looks like some limbs put together with hip joints. ugh.
