Well, we rented Cloverfield through Netflix and I'm halfway done watching it with Xar. I mean, I'm probably the last person on the face of the planet to see this movie, but I'm gonna summarize the whole thing for you in spoiler tags just to be safe. Then I'm gonna review the movie itself and give you guys my opinion.

 

Here's how the movie goes:

And that's the whole movie summed up right there. Best part was the exploding head. Otherwise, not much. The camera angles and effects where good, but at the heart of it it's just another B- monster movie except through the eyes of one of those guys who you see get stepped on by Godzilla.

I saw an ad for it on dictionary.com today when I was doing homework. I looked it up- how you say in America WORST PLOT ****ING EVARR?!!??

 

But seriously, I should see Cloverfield <<

Despised Cloverfield beyond all meaning.

 

How on Earth does a giant freaking monster jump behind you, making a loud noise, and you don't realize it until it munches you down (After shock I would understand, but It lands behind you. No doubt it would shake you.)

 

The ending was terrible.

Amusement Park. Monster falls from sky into Ocean. Doesn't surface until a month later. Why a month later?

 

And I don't want to read info about the monster on the movie's website. I want it explained during the movie. It failed for Halloween III, it failed for this movie.

And btw, Godzilla could own Cloverfield any day.

Meh, I'd rather see Quarantine over Cloverfield.

You want a bad monster movie? Really bad? Rock monster. Cloverfield was a moderate movie, but rock Monster... *shudders*

Watch Rock Monster or Monster Ark. Then tell me Cloverfield is awful.

Oh, and Quarentine and Cloverfield have NOTHING to do with each other besides having, supposedly, a similar style of filming.
