Tommy Oliver was originally the Evil Green Ranger. Then the spell that made him evil was broken, and he became the first Green Ranger.

Then, his powers went out, and he left Angel Grove. But then Zordon and Alpha 5 somehow created new powers for Tommy, and he became the White Ranger, and the new leader of the team.

After a while, the rangers lost their powers, and then gained the Zeo Ranger powers, and that's when Tommy became the Red Ranger, making him the third Red Ranger (Jason was first, then Rocky was second. Rocky became the new blue ranger.) He then went on to become the first of two Red Turbo Rangers.

Later, he would reappear as a high school science teacher. He would become the new mentor character to three new Dino Rangers. He would then find his own Dino Gem, and become the new Black Dino Ranger.

Tommy has been all over the place. Green, White, Red, and Black.

He's the most famous Power Ranger ever.

If the writers have any awesome in them at all, they'll make him a pink ranger.

That Jazz, like the original, is awesome... just in a different way.

And if you've seen the custom sticker sheet for sale at reprolabels, he gets that much cooler.

MMPR are so win. Later seasons, not so much, but Tommy was pretty awesome.

Dino Rangers was silly.

But I loved Tommy. He was my idol, man.

He's the most famous Power Ranger ever.

 

And awesomest.

I liked Billy.

Maybe cause I was always picked to be Billy when we played Power Rangers at recess.

Tommy was my hero as an elementary aged child.

And now he sits on my desk in both Green Dragon Ranger and White Tiger Ranger forms.

Ah, good times.

The Time Force rangers were my favorite.

I do admit kicking myself for not picking up a large figure of that dog-headed space commander guy I saw once. Good design.
