Then in Spring 2003, a LEGO store was built in a mall 5 minutes from my house. I've gotten all my LEGO sets from there since then. On January 1st, though, since my local store didn't have the new Pirate sets, and since I reeeeally wanted one, I used my gift card to order a set. I was given the "5-8 business day" estimation. (Translation: 2 weeks.) The only way to get it quicker is to pay a fortune for 2-day shipping. The same day, I ordered a couple books from Borders.com. And they arrived within 2 days. Anyway... what did you order? I find Lego's shipping to be great, actually. They sent it out perfectly on time, and I usually get the package earlier than the estimated date. For this I blame UPS, since they're handling the package and labeled it as "rerouted." I got Strakk, Zesk, and Icarax.
