Turakii's Website Just Isn't Enough For Me

Ah, those days of the Board Messages. Weren't they something? I wonder who came up with them all...

 

A lot of people like to come up with their own. Some even forming songs. Turakii's got a collection of these on her website. Most are awesome.

 

Remember that period of time when it seemed like the board was constantly not busy, but rather offline? How annoying. It wasn't the staff's fault though. Unfortunately, there were no witty phrases or anything of the sort for that. Just a simple "performing maintenance" or something. What a shame.

 

Well, after having read all these busy server messages on Turakii's website, I asked myself why was nobody making board offline messages? So, I decided to make the very first. Turakii graciously added it to her website to be displayed.

 

However, I don't get feedback this way and how do I really know who's seen it? So, since Turakii's website just isn't enough for me, I've decided to post it in this blog. It is a full song, meant to be sung to the tune of DAUGHTRY's "Crashed". The same song featured in the more popular version of the Toa Mahri Mini Movie.

 

Board Offline

 

I love my BZPower, do it all the time,

Turned on my computer and I went online,

Typed in the website's URL.

Yeah,

Yeah.

Saw a news story that looked really cool,

Clicked on the "Talkback," thought "This is gonna rule!"

Then it happened, didn't see it coming.

Yeah,

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah!

 

The board was offline,

And I wanted to flame!

Would have lost my proto,

That would not have been good, no!

The board was offline,

I was going insane!

There was nothing I could do,

But I couldn't walk away!

 

Somehow I had to stop myself,

An urge to smash my PC, that's what I felt,

Duct Taped my hands to my chair.

Yeah,

Yeah.

And I was trying to make some sense,

Out of how and why this happened,

When it's coming back, there's just no knowing.

Yeah,

Yeah!

 

The board was offline,

And I wanted to flame!

That would not have been good, no!

Then his face was shining before me,

Hapori Tohu, he gave me just what I need!

But Hapori gave back life to me!

That is why i never rely on a single site for all my entertainment purposes

Not knowing it was a parady song, of course, made it a bit harder to understand. Knowing now that it is "Crashed," the parady is much more entertaining.

No, I wasn't bored. I just felt like doing it at the time. It was fun.

Yeah, I guess Turakii did forget to mention that it was a song parody. d= Oh, and congratulations. You've just moved out of the last category section in the arena.

Oh, I remember I wrote some sort of poem at 2 AM about the server being down, because I couldn't sleep. I'll have to find that.

 

Also, What Aquatic Lewa said sums up what I think. Yes, everything he said. Except I can't recall the tune to "Crashed", what with the sounds of the video blocking it out.
