Yeah, you're probably wondering just why I disappeared for a number of days. Even moreso why the caption contest hasn't been updated.

 

Last Friday/Saturday night I fell ill. It wasn't so bad at first, but by the time I finished working I couldn't think straight or anything. It was all I could do just to drive the short distance home. After that, it got a lot worse. I'm not sure if it was the flu or something else, but it is/was nasty. I spent all of Sunday sitting in the same recliner. I didn't leave that chair even once all day.

 

I'm just starting to feel a little better, so that's good. Though at this point with the week about half-over I might as well just wait until this Sunday to continue the caption contest.

 

Just thought I'd let you all know what's going on. With any luck, I'll be able to go back to work tomorrow.

Same thing when I got sick with the flu or something like it. For me, it first began as either extreme headaches or a cold then headaches. Then it became headaches, possibly cold symptoms, and extreme nausea. I at least think it was a flu...

Nooo... but there was the one time we all got sick the same day we ate banana bread with peanut butter on it.

Well, if peanut butter didn't cause it I have no idea what did.

 

By the way, the FDA has said to avoid peanut butter at all costs. It's gotten worse. Waaay worse. Even peanut butter claiming to be organic has it. . .
