If you ever watched Back To The Future 2, the dunce would just create a seperate timeline. So we will still be around, but when he goes forward into time, he won't return to where we are.

How do you know it wasn't like in the twilight zone, where he accidentaly covincesd booth to kill Lincoln, despite trying to stop him. Besides, if I went back in time, I'd probably just go to see the hanging gardens or meet george washington, or FDR, or napoleon, or maybe Einstien.

If I could time travel, I would never do it, even to change something really bad, because sometimes, even from something really bad, a good change in the world comes.
