Back With A Vengeance!
Anyone remember this girl? If not filename should clue you in.
Ah, she's fun to draw. Doodled her this morning while waiting for class to start. Anyway. I've been working on my skills at clothes. Recently doodled my sleeves and jeans in class for practice. I think I've gotten marginally better, as in the above doodle. Oh yeah, suffering from giraffe syndrome as often happens when I doodle the head first and decide to tack on the body afterwards. Tried to move her shoulders up a bit digitally (you can see the too-clean Photoshop eraser line), but I could only go so far.
Another class doodle spawned this fun vector piece. Did the kimono texture myself. Could technically go to any resolution, though the caption and background are raster (not a problem for the caption, since I can rewrite it quicky; taihen for the background). Always liked the sort of stylized heavy-black creepy-mask thing from the ED sequence. Could probably throw in some more textures on the color layers to add interest.
See and you gotta wonder why I img tag the slightly cleaned doodle and link to the smooth full-color vector. My mind works in ways unbeknownst even to me.
