Yeah, that sounds bad, but it's true; keep reading and see what I mean.

As you may know, this year's big ticket item is a tenth anniversary special edition of a red, furry, annoying little monster that laughs. If you don't know, I'm talking about the Tickle Me Elmo TMX. (X is for extreme: it's so original... like XGames and a bunch of other Xtreme things.) Anyway, what's stupid is this thing retails for $40-50, but people are willing to pay in the thousands for this item: someone paid $10,000 for one.

I don't know what makes Elmo so extreme, but maybe this one uses pronouns. gasp.gif

If you haven't already but plan to look for and sell one... good luck with that. You are really going to need it.

I knew it! You're just jealous of the awesomeness that is Elmo :P Wait, they paid around 20,000AUD for one?

Now that's just strange... And somewhat obsessed...

The scariest part is the toy itself. They were talking about it on the news and they showed a clip of Elmo in action -- if toys had lungs, he would've laughed up both of his. He literally ROFLs.

First Google buying something online for a billion dollars and now this? AUGH! IT'S THE '90S ALL OVER AGAIN! AAUUUGGGHH!!!

*goes off to download more silent movies*

Is that the one that actually gets on the floor and laughs and then gets back up again? That thing is going to take over the world. This is where robotics is taking us.
