Relocation Confusion

wherearemyglasses.jpg

Text: Glasses, glasses, where are my glasses?

So this week the juniors have HSPA standardized testing (HAHAHAHA juniors sucks for you... okay obviously I had to take them last year and they're darned easy anyway, but...).

Anyway the entire annex except for a few classrooms was devoted to the HSPA rooms, right? So all the classes in the annex for the first half of the day had to be relocated.

Now, this shouldn't have affected me. First block today I have Global Studies which is in the old wing.

The thing is, Global is a mostly junior class. I'm in it since I took AP Psych as my social studies course last year; there are two more seniors and two sophomores (who I guess skipped ahead?) in Global.

I guess for that reason they kind of thought our room was empty. So they assigned a Spanish classroom from the annex to relocate there. Good job, school administration!

The Spanish teacher ran around a bit trying to find out where we were supposed to be (all the teachers we talked to kept asking us, "Wait, are you juniors?" If we were juniors it'd kind of be hard to forget about the graduation requirement test we're taking for the entire week?).

Eventually I was like, "Screw this." And I went to the comp sci room where I played online flash games for the whole period. And read about godan and ichidan verbs but no one else is interested in that...

So, what you're saying is that cruddy school administration is a rule, and not an exeption to my school?

. . .

Somehow, I feel so much better.

Screwy education system is screwy. On a related note, in Soviet Russia, education system screws you! ...Yeah, I'll stop that now.

Also, you can read Japanese? oO

Ah, only to an extent. Hiragana is very easy, since it's phonetic; I've had all the Hiragana memorized for months. Kanji is harder, but I'm making progress... anyway the only Kanji in that caption are "megane," which 1) I recognize from Chinese and 2) it's easy to infer from context anyway. Still slowly working on learning the grammar, but this sentence was very simple.

The text in Romaji, in case you were curious, is "megane, megane, megane wa doko desu kaa~?" Megane = glasses, doko = where, desu = is, wa = subject/context marker, ka = question marker.

...Would it be at all possible to teach me over the internet, or should I continue looking for someone local who'll do it for free?
